pretty watch, frustrating clasp
on May 8, 2015
I love the look of the watch. it's really thin and sleek. doesn't look clunky on my wrist. i love the brushed stainless steel look, but it does get a little scuffed with normal day to day wear (as expected, it's just a lot more noticeable on this watch than my others). i also like the glow in the dark arms. it's actually pretty bright if you let it sit in the sun/under a light for a while. i can totally tell the time without turning on the light or grabbing my phone.
Before buying the watch my main concern was the sizing. I have relatively thin wrists, even after taking off all the removable links (it's nice that they're held together by clasps but there's a huge difference between size options because the clasps take up a lot more space than pins) it could still freely rotate on my wrist. the stiff stainless steel arms could be uncomfortable if my wrists were bigger (they do kind of limit range of motion if you like to wear your watches tight). i read in someone else's review that they were going to try to bend the arms for a better fit... i don't think it's necessary in my case. i'm fine with it the way it is. -0.5 stars
my biggest problem with this watch is that it doesn't come off easily. the clasp only opens to a 90 degree angle and the hook is made so that you can just barely pass it through the catch. it is REALLY frustrating to take off. -1.5 stars
