About the Author
Victoria Johns is a writer who enjoys sharing a happily ever after and believes that it’s every good girl's dream to experience a steamy one. Growing up in North West England in a large family surrounded by love and support she found her Prince Charming many years ago and enjoys living the life they’ve made with their son. She’s always had a creative imagination and decided that some of the stories bubbling in her head needed to be shared, so she’s created this pen name to give them their freedom to be loved by others. When she’s not writing she’s overdosing on crisps, Rosé wine, trashy TV and raunchy reads.

I loved Fostering love, a teen crush that leads to an adult romance & a second chance romance with angst, a Jealous ex, drama, danger, hotness, in a nut shell Fostering Love had it all.
About the plot:
Two teens living in foster care, part of a family but secretly in love each other & neither tells the other. Jonas goes off the rails battling with his emotions which turns to aggression & wrong company it's decided by his foster parents for him to go into the Navy & Dalton doesn't even get a goodbye.
Years later & the icy reunion of Dalton or Dolly as she's known is where Fostering Love begins in this roller coaster read.
Brilliantly written, the plot balanced out perfectly keeping you interested throughout the end drags out a bit, I don't think Victoria wanted it to end as much as I didn’t.
Great characters, Jonas didn’t start off likable but I grew to love him and because I read the novella first I got a better understanding of both characters as teens and their secret love for each other.
Recommended roller-coaster read.
Review from jeannie zelos book reviews
Well, I found this book really slow to start, it seemed to me lots of information but going no where. Add in that I didn’t really like Dalton or Jonas at first and....but take heart – things speed up, and as I got to know them better I saw behind Dalton’s abrasive quirks and realised she used this kind of aggression as a defence mechanism. Same with Jonas, he seemed surly on the surface, but really it was just a quiet, think-before-you-speak approach. As I got to know and understand them I liked them better.
Dalton and her “girls” were a great group and very supportive of her. They know she’s long held out for Jonas to want her, and can feel just how hurt she is that he’s been back for six weeks and hasn’t told her. Enough is enough she says, he’s history and she determines its time to move on. Sadly the heart and the head don’t always co-ordinate over issues of love though and its not easy to just switch off feelings, though she gives trying out other men a good shot! Jonas can’t bear seeing that – he’s long wanted Dalton, but as they were brought up in the same foster home their mum warned him off long ago, and he seems to think it still applies. Mum loves all the kids and had reasons at the time that no longer apply, both Dalton and Jonas are older now and able to make up their own minds now.
Sadly though Dalton sees he’s back again with long time FWB Leticia. The friends bit is pretty loose, it’s more a sex when they want thing, a convenience that still suits them. She’s such a horrible person though that I can’t see – other than the obvious – what Jonas sees in her, and it brings him down in my estimation. Of course just when he sees Dalton with others and comes to his senses about her, there’s a shock on the way for him. His own fault and it stops all his plans....Poor Dalton, she gets a glimpse of what she’s dreamed and its gone ...and it goes on like that – he can’t have her but can’t seem to let her go, she tries to give other men a chance but can’t forget him, and all the while the real bitchy Leticia is lording it over Dalton. They’ve been at loggerheads since she spent their school years bullying Dalton, but now Dalton bites back. On one occasion that leads to a spectacular cat fight and gets the whole family involved.
Its a decent length but at times I felt some parts were a bit over explained, and at others I needed a bit more. Just what did Dalton see in Jonas for example? I know she’s crushed on him since a teen, but why – what was it that made him special. Frankly his actions with Letitia didn’t put him in a good light, and his later actions with Dalton were just selfish! How stupid is the man in this day and age, and given his circumstances not to take more care about certain issues! At times I felt Letitia got a short straw from him, he used her, with them both knowing she’s not who he wanted but still she dreamed, and even though she wasn’t a nice person did she deserve that? It doesn’t make him come off well for me. Her anger about that builds and steams though until she explodes, and there’s a huge. climatic action packed finish. That made up for the slow start, and had all the drama I love. By this time I’d even got to understand and like Jonas so was rooting for a HEA for him and Dalton.
Stars: Four, misgivings apart its a hot, erotic read and fun.

Neither ever forgot the other even though several year went by. Jonas served heroically in the Navy, saw combat and was promoted. Dolly went off to college and majored in her great love---photography. She and Jonas both had relationships with other people during the years they were apart but never lost the love they felt for each other. They kept in touch over the years, but talking as foster siblings and neither ever told the other of their undying love.
Dolly returns to their hometown to practice her profession of photography and has a reasonably successful business. Her best friends from high school are still there and still single and the four of them spend a lot of time together. When Jonas unexpectedly returns to the town and becomes manager of the only bar/nightclub in town, he does not tell Dolly he is coming home and does not contact her. When she sees him at the club, he is with the school tramp who had gone to their high school and Jonas had a sexual relationship with back then, that Dolly had walked in on one night. This girl that Dolly and her friends called "Tits" worked at this nightclub as a bartender and she was all over Jonas. Jonas' high school friends are still around also but some of them have designs on Dolly themselves while others try to give him advice that he doesn't take. From all appearances he is having a relationship with Tits. He is very secretive about his personal life and his future plans, even from his best friends.
