Dust off the old glass boys...
First of all, these things are great. Solid build and cheap to boot.
This is the best way of getting older lenses on your newer body dslr. I currently have two, the MD (Minolta) and PK (Pentax) adapters. This allows me to go find those old, amazing lenses that people are selling for pennies on the dollar and use it with my GH2.
NOTICE: THIS WILL NOT IN ANYWAY TRANSMIT ANY AUTO FOCUS OR ZOOM INFORMATION.
This means everything is 100% manual on your lens. Focus, Aparture and Zoom. What you lose is auto focus, so moving subjects are pretty much a thing of the past. However, if you have a nice controlled environment, you can take one of those lens from the 80's that is made solid as a tank, stops down to F2 or F1.(something) and and destory.
The only thing I dont like is the release button. That is the only single part that feels a little cheap. They are done differently on each adapter, so the MD one is decent the PK one sucks so much.

Manual focus on digital camera is a challenge
Purchased this adapter to use my old MD lenses with the GH4. The products works, meaning that I can successfully attach the lenses. Taking good pictures with them is a different story, and my initial attempts were a little disappointing. It is difficult to focus because, unlike with the Minolta MD series, there is no prism in the center of the image that aids with the alignment of two image halves. There is actually no visual aid and it is next to impossible to get the focus right.The attached picture was shot with a Sakar 28-200 f/4-5.6 zoom lens, after playing with the focus for about a minute. This used to be my favorite lens for portraits and candids with the X700. It was quite easy to achieve stunning results with a nice bokeh. With the GH4 it a challenge to use this lense, to say the least.So, four stars for the adapter's tight fit with little play, but one star deduction for its limited usability.PS: I have since figured out that when I switch the camera to MF (on the back of the body there is a small dial switch) I do get a visual aid in the display that helps with focusing (focus peaking). I should have have read the manual.PPS: Focus peaking seems to work when I set the camera to MF with a Panasonic lens. It does not seem to be available with the MD adapter. I will keep looking.
