All my worries faded and the stand worked as great as it was advertised, maybe even exceeding the expectations.
Would definitely buy another one someday.
1.) it's a little stiff which makes it hard to open and close the tripod legs.
2.) The tripod head could be a little better quality. When I screwed an umbrella/flash holder bracket to the top, the screws from the bracket actually gouged the aluminum on the top of the light stand. Aluminum is a pretty soft metal so maybe if they had used a harder material it might not have been an issue. I solved the problem by putting an old t-shirt over top of the lightstand head before screwing the bracket onto it. That way there is something to keep it from making direct contact.
overall...it's a pretty good lightstand...for the price.

Should have known better that a light stand that cost 19 bucks couldn't or wouldn't have spring cushioning. Too good to be true.Published 1 month ago by myHIGHERVISION
It's a cheap stand. Very small and light for packing in baggage. can support decent amount of weight when sandbagged.
It feels cheap, but you get what you pay for.
The fittings are poor quality. I do not recommend this for a serious photographer.Published 20 months ago by danny melbihess
