The description by the manufacturer says that it fits a Leica M2. It certainly does. However, it's completely useless because the rangefinder cam isn't engaged when the lens is mounted so you cannot focus this. No point in buying this I would say on an M2 or M3. Returning it.

Works perfectly with my M-P 240 and Canon FD lens, I'm not sure what the purpose of the OPEN/LOCK slider, I just keep it in the LOCK position all the time so the aperture ring on the lens adjust the aperture blades.

Two slight issues:
1. Focuses beyond infinity, but can be fixed by shimming inside of adapter (haven't done this yet)
2. Slight play from side to side so your lens could be off-center by a hair. No problem for me as I'm projecting unto APS-C (Ricoh GXR Mount)

Aperture control works fine. I'm very happy using mom's old FD lenses.
