“This thriller from Edgar finalist Lashner (Guaranteed Heroes) pits defense lawyer J.D. Scrbacek against unseen and unknown enemies out to destroy him...Lashner melds a nightmarish vision of a city riven by greed and poverty with serious discussions of criminal law and its practice and its corruption.” —Publishers Weekly
“The Four-Night Run has it all: unrelenting, unblinking violence; occasional grim humor; middle-aged angst; and a cast of characters too surreal to be anything other than a hundred percent true to life.” —Bookreporter
