Not only was I intrigued by her first goal of becoming a "real girl," but her second goal to convince the four guys she's been haunting for 5 years to "pick her to be their new toy" made this an easy choice to one-click.
I'm no stranger to the RH genre. And with it's increasing popularity, it's rare to find such an original gem as Four Psychos. It's a wildly inventive, fantastically original story that brings the angst that I so adore while sprinkling steam and blanketing the whole thing in mystery. It was a phenomenal read and one that kept me up long after my bedtime on a Sunday night. (Which is probably the best compliment I can give a book!) I cannot wait for book two and I've already started stalking following the author's pages for glimpses of the stories to come.
A female spirit is tied to 4 hot soul reapers. For almost six years she has watched and learned. Grown stronger in their presence. She found a way to travel with them, but they don't know she is there, until assassins try to kill them. She saves their lives and they can now see her.
She is hurt when 1, 2,3, and 4, as she called them, are not happy to know she exists. They suspect she was sent by their enemies. All are drawn to her as she is to them.
1 is Gage, 2 is Ezekiel, 3 is Kai, and 4 is Jude, her favorite and the one who treats her the worst. She has no memory of who she is beyond the almost 6 years she has lived with them. They give her a name, Keyla. As she grows stronger so do they.
Someone is trying to kill them. They need to pass the hell trials to get answers. They need Keyla, even though she is a distraction. Keeping their hands off her is proving trying, when they need to focus, not that they have come to the attention of Lucifer. Survival in the trial they face looks grim.
Fast paced, with great world building. Keyla and her men have a lust hate relationship. They can't say away from each. Kayla is a protector. Her Psychos need her more then they will admit. Ends in a cliffhanger.

Anyway, my favourite genre is paranormal and I often struggle finding books that I can connect with because often or not they're a little too out there and bizarre to the point that I just cant imagine what has been written, but this book exceeded expectations. Not one bit of disappointment was felt when reading it. Thats a hard feat to accomplish for me because I'm a fussy troll, but this book nailed it for me.
Keyla is a treat! I love her sass, her quirky little comebacks, the simplicity and honesty that she expels. Oh, and the no shame thing totally kills me. I wish I had her ability when it comes to clothing choices! I sort of want that Pinocchio outfit.
The guys are great. I already have my favourite, or two. Or three *cough*.. Or four. Shut up. I like them all. Sue me. Seriously though, I kinda love how they take the mick out of Keyla, and she takes it on the chin. I just love the whole dynamic.
So, yeah. Loved it. Only had to read the first chapter and my addiction spiked full force. This author never seems to fail in feeding my addiction, though. She's seriously amazing at what she does and I'm honestly never disappointed while reading her books. Would recommend this book to anyone looking for a funny, quirky and rather saucy RH. Can barely contain my excitement for the next book! I'm so glad my nan doesn't pry into what kind of books I read *shakes head*.
If you've never read RH before READ THIS READ THIS READ THIS. If you're a seasoned reader of it this will knock your socks off!
For years Keyla has been a ghost. Literally. She's spent 5 years watching 4 men go about their lives. But, They're not just any men....
hmmmm don't think i'm gonna say anymore about the storyline. Go in blind, hold on tight and enjoy the adventure.
I absolutely loved it!! It was exciting and intriguing and i had no clue where it was going and now I've finished it i have more questions than answers! There is a cliffy as it's a four book series so be warned!
Keyla is wonderful! She's funny and quirky and completely random and i loved every second of her ramblings. You do start off feeling quite sorry for her and when the guys finally see her your heart drops with her's. She's so used to being around them that she feels they should be the same with her when in fact they think she may be a threat. But, in Keyla style, mainly a middle finger salute she plows on through with a glimmer of hope they'll come around.
The sexual tension builds like a volcano waiting to erupt and i can't wait to see the explosion, i feel the knicker change coming on already. Four... Four... Four sexy and dark men... FOUR OF THEM!!! I want a harem!!!!!!! I have no preference!! Nope none!!! Jude, Ezekeil, Gage or Kai i'll take them all!!!
Knowing it was a RH going in i was a little worried that there may be a preference to one of the relationships, as in Keyla with just one of the guys, or that maybe one of them would become jealous. But that absolutely did not happen at all. It felt like they were all a team almost one unit not separate ones and it's brilliant to read. The author gets it absolutely bang on!
The storlyline is unique and exciting and gripping and seriously i need the next book like my next breath! GIVE IT TO ME!!!
So many questions!! Who is Keyla? What is she? Who are the guys? What are they? Is the Devil out to destroy them all? and why? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hurry!!!!!! The tension is killing me!
As you can tell i loved this book. I mean seriously!! FLOVED IT!! Highly recommend!
This is a fun read with a twist of darkness but so far not in a tragic or scary way, it's set in Hell a lot 😉😳
Keyla is spirit of some sort. She has no memory of her former self. She is anchored to Gage, Ezechial, Kai & Jude who are soul dealers for Hell but they've never died & soley live on earth!!
The story is about how the guys finally see & hear Keyla, which she's been desperate for five plus years! Unfortunately things don't go to plan for her as they don't trust her & they constantly hurt her feelings, especially Jude 😭
There are some chuckles and some really touching moments. I hated how the guys treated her, my heart hurt for her!😡😥 I'm looking forward to getting some answers to all of their stories in the coming books and I hope the men grovel big time too 🙏😉

On the other hand it's also amazingly refreshing to find a group of guys who doesn't swoon instantly, when they lay eyes on Keyla. They recognize their bond to each other is more important than her evil vag***. They don't always play fair, and admittedly, there were times where I wanted to punch them for not appreciating her more. But none the less it's what makes the entire thing unique, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
Our main character is ‘Keyla’ and the story is told from her POV. Keyla is a ghost/spirit of some sort, although not even she knows what she is. Keyla has no memory of her former self and at the start of the book we learn that she has been living with 4 supernatural guys who cannot see her. She has had dinner with them, spoken to them, been part of everything they have done (including watching them have sex) and they have no awareness of her existence at all. If she is not within sight of one of the guys for more than 10 minutes, she starts to feel ill and fades. She is anchored to the 4 guys (Gage, Ezechial, Kai & Jude) who are soul dealers for Hell but they've never died and soley live on earth. The story is about how the guys finally see, hear and feel Keyla but unfortunately things don't go to plan for her as they don't trust her and they constantly hurt her feelings. We learn of the trials that the guys are going through and the political distrust in Hell and the guys learn how Keyla is there to help and there are a few sexy situations thrown in as well.
Although I am clearly in the minority, I didn’t like this book. I didn’t like Keyla, I found her flipping between arrogance and neediness too exhausting. This sounds stupid but, even through all the crazy stuff that happens, it was her choice of clothes (seemingly by accident) that I didn’t believe. The writing was a bit stilted for me and it was hard to keep up with who was deceiving who. This book was easy to read and I read it in one day but I felt that the storyline and character development was lacking and I won’t bother with the rest of the series.
