I would say that I am satisfied in the product that showed up. My initial impression upon first holding them was a little uncertain. The rough texture just didn't feel natural coming from regular paper cards. That said, after spending some time shuffling and handling them, I quickly got used to the feeling. I think I *might* prefer a slicker, less textured surface but having never tried them, I really don't know for sure so I won't knock a star off for that. To me, it's a personal preference and nothing to do with the quality of the cards.
As for the quality, these cards seem to be well constructed and printed. The colors are vivid and attractive and they don't run anywhere. The face cards have a unique skin tone applied to them that makes them look a little classier than other cards. The diamonds and hearts use a darker shade of red that I prefer but I don't believe it is as dark as security ink. The blacks and reds are easy enough to differentiate between each other when on the table so that shouldn't be an issue.
Overall, I like these cards coming from paper. The texture takes a little getting used to but other than that, they resemble paper cards enough in shape and weight that they don't throw you off when handling them.
