"With all the elements readers expect from the best in genre, Fox Among Wolves proves a top notch read and certainly one that demands your attention. It is recommended without reservation" - BookViral
"I love a good mystery, and this one kept me guessing the whole way through. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out who the good guy and bad guy are in the tale, but this one left me guessing right until the very end." - SM Freedman, Bestselling Author of The Faithful
"I really liked the way the author developed her characters into people I could easily respect and like. It made every twist and turn something I could sink my teeth into and really care about the outcome." - Andrea Domanski, Bestselling Author of Crossfire
"The character of Ginny is a definite star and is someone who deserves more follow up adventure stories, she's desirable and yet underestimated by many which makes her a very exciting character to read about. Readers who love intense, intriguing and somewhat twisted dark romances should not miss this book." - Kevin Peter, Moterwriter
"This is a modern twisty-turny story full of intrigue, lies, and deceit, and peppered with a good amount of romance and some humor. The characters run the gamut from sweet to nasty, loveable to despicable. It's a great quick escape from household tasks and every day life." Speedymum - Amazon reader
"This novel was probably one of the most action-packed books that I have ever read; the plots and subplots are enough to keep the reader on his or her toes, so I was never bored. I found myself turning through the pages, wondering what would happen next." S. Davis, McWood Publishing
From the Author
This story started life as a teenage dream; I wrote the first version then lost it. But it stayed with me and demanded to be told so I re-wrote it 16 years later, taking two years to complete.
The essence is still the same as that first time it played out in my head. I hope you enjoy spending time with these characters as much as I have. To bring it up to scratch with modern day, I spent hours watching Ultimate Force - I know, it's a tough job, but someone has to do it. When I saw Richard Armitage playing a captain, I knew I'd found my Rick Allen. The initials were just a happy coincidence. According to a number of fans, this one's begging a sequel - well now it has two. Wolf in Sheep's Clothing continues the adventure, Big Bad Wolf concludes it.
This latest version (August '17) has been spruced up to correct a number of typos people have kindly pointed out. Also, in answer to comments about the implausibility of a young woman in an isolated country house opening the door to a bunch of strangers on a soggy winter's night after a car crash, I've added some insight to the state of Ginny's mind when she did this. And added a bit of fun and sparkle to the first scene. Enjoy!
