I have used this bag both for camping and lugging around audio recording equipment (max load approx. 40lbs). So far it has held up perfectly under both circumstances. The straps and back are both well padded, making this bag easy to carry around for extended periods of time. I suppose it goes without saying, but a 45L, the bag has plenty of space.

75liter relly doesn't mean much until you put this thing on. I have it cranked down on all the straps to "lessen" the interior space for daily use and its still as big as my last 3 day pack.

Quality is Okay but its not quite up to snuff with a blackhawk or 5.11 product.

Main comparment is cavernous and 3 exteriro pockets hold all my EDC gear.

Vendor contacted me promptly with an issue that arose in the order and resolved it within 1 evening. Well Played!

First off, I didn't buy my rio pack here. But it is the same pack. Over all, the pack seems to be a good pack. However, it isn't large enough to carry more than maybe 3 days worth of supplies and gear.

Pros-
Padded back, shoulder, and waist straps.
Zippered flap pocket with MOLLE straps
2 zippered side pockets
The straps snapping the lid close can double as a tent/sleeping bag attachment point on the bottom of the pack
Seems to be completely water resistant material

Cons-
Zippers are of cheap quality and feel like they will break after a few uses
Canvas material feels cheap like it could tear easily
Mouth to the main compartment is small and hard to get things into/out of
the flap and side compartments are small
Lack of molle straps anywhere else on the pack except the lid
Lack of attachment straps on the pack

For a small hike or camping trip, this bag would be perfect, such as a weekend get away. It would easily hold one person's worth of supplies for about 3 days. The shoulder straps are fully adjustable and padded well.

The British Northern Ireland Patrol Day Rucksack is a very popular pack in the UK, but very hard to get ahold of in the U.S. This is a cheap civilian version of it and a kind of a mini Bergen. It's a top loaded pack with a pocket on the top cover that can accommodate toiletries, keys or a small first aid kit. The top cover also has two MOLLE stripes that you can attach more gear or strap onto a raincoat, parka or sleeping bag. Unlike the Bergen, the top cover is sewn onto the back of the rucksack and therefore cannot be completely detached. The top of the main compartment does not have the extended waterproof nylon cover for snow or rain. This is a major disadvantage for a top load rucksack as this means limited carrying capacity and lack of protection of your load from the elements.

There are two pouches on either side of the rucksack. These cannot be detached. There is also no additional bottom compartment and no rain cover provided.

There is a loop at the center bottom of the rucksack for carrying an ice axe and is secured by a strap and buckle in the middle of the rucksack. The front of the rucksack has two lines of nylon stripes going from the bottom to the top, but they are not MOLLE stripes. There are 2 plastic D-rings on each of the nylon stripes for attaching additional gear.

The major problem of this rucksack is that the padded length of the shoulder straps are way too short. I am not a tall man and when I put on this pack, I found the shoulders straps are tight on my body and cutting into my armpits. There is no sternum strap, but there is a waist belt which sits on my stomach rather than waist. Some people explained that the design is to accommodate soldiers wearing load-bearing harness and ammo pouches.

I love this bag. It holds a ton (without being too heavy) and is very well constructed. The zippers and material are great! It has a lot of pockets and some MOLLE straps on top. I would buy it again. The digital woodland looks awesome too. For a medium size pack it is great and fulfills all my needs.

This is excellent bag. Not only can it fit everything you need for a campout but it is also water proof. It has plenty of little compartments for all your little stuff. I have one and love it. Seriously thinking of getting a second one.

the top portion of the bag rips eveytime u pull on it. i recently took this bag on a backpacking trip down south and when i pulled the string it ripped. i had to hire a local guatemalan lady to stitch it back up..she double stitched it all around and it seems to hold.for the price its ok. i recommend purchasing a name brnd bag on craigslist. the top bags last long and are reselleable

Awesome bag! Only gave it 4 starts and not 5 is because of 2 things:
1. Could use extra MOLLE attachment points.
2. Size is great for holding a ton of gear, but wish there was more internal organization/pockets instead of one giant cavernous area.

Bag is VERY comfortable, from the back padding, size, and kidney pads. I'm 5-11, slim/average build and this thing fits like a glove.
