I don't normally write reviews, but I have to give these guys some props. I discovered this band on Last.fm, and was unsure if I actually liked them(they take some getting used to). I decided to take a chance and buy this CD.

This CD is awesome. It is one of the most unique and catchy(!) CDs I have ever heard. The entire CD is good. The lyrics are kind of emo, but they also seem to not take themselves very seriously, so they just turn out being kind of funny("Life is a bitch... but she's totally doable.") I would recommend this CD to anyone who is looking for something interesting and different.

Go check out "Oh Lord" and "Wannabe Angel" ... if you like those songs you will definitely like the CD.

I would recommend this music to anyone that is tired of the current "hits" on the radio, and misses amazing artists like Queen. Foxy Shazam is like crack for your ears!!! (Warning: highly addictive! You might as well get all of their CD's at once and save yourself the wait time of getting one at a time)

Personally my favorite record by foxy shazam. If you ponder why should you buy this album over any other artist out there; the answer is easy, just do it. These guys have talent and energy unseen in modern music. It's like meatloaf (the artist) had a baby group. The music style is a rock opera esk romp of awesome. The vocals have range to highest dynamics possible. This ensemble of horns, keys, strings, drums, and even dogs barking make it pleasure for all ear holes to enjoy. But don't take my word for it...

I've spent two days listening to this in my car, in my office on my iphone. Love this. A band that knows how to craft a melody and an interesting arrangement. The vocals always seem to be just on the edge of breaking, but never do, an original vocalist and style. The standouts for me were "Second Floor" and "Oh Lord" but I actually enjoy listening to the album all the way thru. Thanks Foxy!

I saw them open for Slash last September. Had no idea who they were, but they are now one of my favorite bands. Cannot wait to see them again live (unforgettable). Big things are in store for this band.

Let's face it.
Every Foxy album is a different genera than the last.
This album is way more indie meet's arena rock.

Foxy, once again, beautifly blends fantastic piano work with a breathtaking vocal range performance by Eric. And not to mention blending serious topics with outrageous humour.
So many great songs from this record.
A Must have in any music collection.

I highly recommend "Connect", "Killin' It", "Oh, Lord!" and "Count Me Out".

For fans of "Queen", "Tokyo Police Club", and "The Reverend Al Sharpton".

It is hard after almost 50 years of rock history for a band to have an instantly recognizable sound but Foxy have. Great songs. I would highly recommend this album. I have bought many (probably too many) cds from Amazon, but this is the first one I have reviewed.

Amazing album the songs are in the perfect order, oh lord amazing song, bye bye symphony gave me a new motto to live by too. All in all bottom line is this, I have a theory. I think the frontman Eric Sean Nally is actually the first example of cloning gone right, I think in an experiment someone decided to see what would happen if you took DNA from Freddy Mercury, and added DNA from Meatloaf. This is the result, a singer with an amazing voice, high energy and showmanship like you don't see in an artist or band anymore.
