About the Author
Karen Cantwell: Karen has been writing plays and short stories for many years, some of which were published in various college literary magazines. More recently, her short story "The Recollections of Rosabelle Raines," was published in the mystery anthology CHESAPEAKE CRIMES: THEY HAD IT COMIN' (Wildside Press, 2010). TAKE THE MONKEYS AND RUN is her first novel and was inspired, to some degree, by a true monkey sighting in her own neighborhood. Since finishing FOXY'S TALE, she has been conjuring a second Barbara Marr novel, CITIZEN INSANE. When she's not writing, she spends time with her kids before they hit those years when they pretend they don't know her. Karen loves to hear from readers. Visit her at karencantwell.com.
LB Gschwandtner: My work has appeared in various journals and anthologies. I've received awards from the Writer's Digest and the Lorian Hemingway short fiction competitions. I'm an avid kayaker (touring) and grew up fishing in the Florida Keys. Here's a tidbit of interest. My husband proposed on our first and only date and we were married five weeks later.
I also write under L B Swan.
