This is a large, heavy, well-built, attractive enclosure that's suited to almost every kind of build. It has space for something like seven fans. The interior room is on the high side of the mid-ATX standard with plenty of clearance for large tower heatsinks and multiple graphics cards. There are eight 3.5" hard disk slots. All of this is ideal for a power build, but also superlative for silent PCs. The case panels are very heavy and dampened with a cloth material. Most of the fan ports can be sealed if unused, and the enclosure is so solid that spinning 3.5" disks cause very little resonance.

The latter point is my interest. I'm all about silent computing. My go-to cases have been Antec's Solo and Sonata line. The former is similarly well-built, but cramped and far more difficult to build inside than this Fractal. The Solo II doesn't appear much of an improvement, so this is my new preferred enclosure.

A few notes:

* Fans. There are two included and they're both 140mm and very quiet. There's also a fan controller with at least three outputs wired into a 3-position switch in the front of the case. All fans appear to use whatever voltage is set.

* Cable management. Large rubber grommets line the motherboard tray. With cable ties, I had no trouble finding room for aesthetically pleasing cable runs. The only exception was a USB 3.0 cable intended to plug into the back of the case. There are no grommets leading out, so I had to remove the vertical PCI-style slot cover on the back-right. The space the cable isn't filling, I sealed with a small piece of flexible black foam available at craft stores. There was adequate room behind the motherboard tray for Molex connectors and the thick 24-pin power cable.

* Drive support.

This by all means will always be my favorite line up of cases, I'll be waiting for the R5 once it comes out (soon hopefully). Makes any build almost dead silent with all the noise dampening foam around of it and has amazing cable management solutions all around the back of the motherboard tray. In my opinion the Arctic White edition is much better than the Black or even the Titanium gray, it's an eye grabber and makes friends & family want to stare at it in amazement when they see it. It's incredibly elegant but tasteful with the outer design. Perfect purchase for my mid-end gaming rig.

This case is worth consideration thanks to the solid build, sound dampening and ample space for cables and anything else you want to hide. I find the case to be nice and quiet with the two included fans reversed, a tower cooler and a nVidia GTX660. I am using a Mini ITX motherboard and it works perfectly. I had a little bit of trouble with the door panel alignment, but very satisfied with the case overall.

Pros:
-Good functional case
-Silent operation
-Love the front dust filter

Cons:
-Few visible paint chips in the back. It's easy to tell especially with white paint and seems like someone in packaging did a bad job. I can see why it passed QC, but it doesn't sit well with me.
-Roof panel where two fan vents are is a bit wobbly. If I squeeze the side panels together it makes a noise and slightly pops up. This means that it's slightly indented downward, however it's not too much where it's uneven.
-Dat red LED lighting. It is super bright.

My previous case was a CM Cosmos 1000 Full tower case. I wanted to move to a mid size silent solution case that can also house long graphic cards. It meets my standards however the actual final product quality is a bit lacking. Hence -1 star.

If you are in the market for a silent case or want a low-key gaming rig, do not look any further. You probably won't be able to find a silent case of this quality from any other manufacture at this price. After about six months of use, I continue to be very pleased, and I haven't found any major faults with it yet. This case looks very good in white both inside and out, and the construction of the case is really solid. With the combination of the sound dampening and 4 x 140mm fractal design fans (case comes with 2) it is difficult to hear the computer running even on medium fan settings. There is a far amount of room for cable management in the back, and the rubber grommets are positioned well to achieve a clean looking build. The only annoying thing about the case for me is the left side panel, which never seems to want to slide into the slots correctly. In my opinion this case has plenty of good airflow options to make for a sleek gaming rig, or can just as easily be used for a server.

This case is remarkably quiet. It was easy to install all of my parts and this is the best case I've had for cable management. It only comes with 2 fans though which is not enough. If you're going to run with only 2 make sure to put them on the side and the top in the back blowing out. In my opinion you should pick up 2 more fans and place them in the front 2 spots and the top back spots for maximum air flow.

This is a great case that also looks amazing, you should note there is a window version. If your case is loud and that's why you need a new case, look no further.
