Full size case that works. Running 4 HDDs and 4 SSDs. Needed to buy two extra trays, but who needs 8 trays. Tray installation isn't great, but works.
Biggest problem I had was, a full size graphic card will not fit with all cages installed. Luckily moving the SSDs to lower mounting cage worked.
Can't tell you about noise, but they come with 14 inchers, I changed them to Noctua's so I don't know what fractal fans sound like.
If you need a case with a lot of room, I would highly recommend this case.

Personally, I am all about practicality. I think things have gone a bit too far with all the extra RGB lights that people put in their cases but to each their own. I am not bad-mouthing anyone who has that going on for their system, I am just saying some of it is too much for ME.

There is only 1 con that bothers me thus far. The case comes with a stock vertical mount, however, I don't feel comfortable using it as it positions the GPU too close to the glass for my liking. Other than that I don't have any other real complaints. Now that we've got that out of the way, let's move on to what I DO like about the case.

The practicality of this case is excellent, the functionality is what I have been looking for for quite some time now. I am upgrading from an NZXT H510 which was a good case too but my major complaint with it was airflow. In this case, airflow is not an issue as the front panel is open which allows my Corsair H100i Elite LCD to breathe appropriately.

The number 1 feature of the Meshify 2 is modularity. When you take the case apart you have so much room to work with. The top cover comes off completely which keeps you from having to contort yourself or move the case a bunch of times in order to get the right angle to plug something in that is hard to reach. It has so many different configurations you can use for your setup. There are so many different options from the size of the motherboard you choose to use to drive mount locations/configurations and cable management is a breeze. The 2 USB 3.0 and Type-C connections on the front panel are an added bonus as well.

Shout out to Fractal for a job well done, this case is exactly what I was looking for and suits my needs perfectly.

- Manual missed the optional screw to secure the Hard Drive storage tray to the back bracket.

I purchased the Meshify 2 to house my home server and to run a few VM’s. I needed a case that would hold many storage devices. A quality case is paramount. I wanted a modern case that would not just house all the drives but also promote good wire management. Cable pass-throughs around the motherboard, expressly along the top for the CPU wire cables. No sharp edges that would inflict harm on wire or flesh. Exceptional airflow with good dust management. Removable top to allow greater access to the CPU power cables and installing a CPU cooler. A sturdy case that would last for years and support future builds. I spend more time researching my case than any other single item.

This is the second Fractal Design case that I own. I have tried most of the major brands and returned to Fractal. Fractal's case not only met my demands but also exceeded them. Look at the manual at all the possible locations where you can mount a storage device.
I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Meshify 2 case. Thanks to the Fractal Design team for continuing their legacy of a quality product.

Does not fit 420 radiator

I like the case, but it does not fit a 420 radiator. Tried with an Artic Freezer II 420 and it does not even enter the case with the stock 140mm on the back. I replaced it with a 120mm and it still sits on top of the IO (Gigabyte UD AC Z790).

Everything else about it is pretty good, easy to run wires, and plenty of space for whatever components you want your build to include. Just save yourself the headache and go with a 360 radiator if you are using an AIO cooling solution or get a different case.

Doesn't really support a 420mm radiator and clearance issues with LGA1700 AIO brackets

This is a nicely designed case and fits together really well. However, don't plan on using it with a 420mm radiator on top as it claims to support. I have a Z690-E Asus Strix MB and an Arctic Freezer II 420 and there is absolutely no way to get it to fit. The radiator won't clear the rear IO Panel; not even close.

Further more, the back panel cutout behind the cpu is to small to accommodate the liquid freezer II LGA1700 bracket! You will have to trim approx 3mm off the bracket (or the back panel) so the bracket will drop inside the hole.

I ended up purchasing an ASUS ROG Strix Lc 360mm cooler which I expect to solve all my problems except perhaps the LGA1700 bracket clearance issue.

Arctic shares some of the blame for these issues but Fractical Design should not be claiming that it supports a 420mm radiator on top.

Great value case, brilliant airflow, easy to build with, can accommodate RTX4090 cards, probably larger, if ever needed. No RBG fans on this one, but there is a connection hub if you like that sort of thing. Plenty of space for all types of cooling options, without being a "large" case.

I gave 5 star because of solid quality build and fast refund, I returned it on the next day, because the radiator is outside of the case if I force to install it.

My precious setup was open bench case, then I upgraded my CPU cooler, then I purchase this Fractal case because it says 420 AIO will fit. Then it's not.

My Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420mm radiator It hit some of my components, motherboard GIGABYTE B550 AUROS MASTER plastic shroud, it hits G.Skill Triden Z metal heatsink.

They need to adjust the radiator location towards you a few mm.

Also the stock Fractal fan sounds like a vintage airplane propeller front and back of the case.

Vengo da un Fractal Design Define XL Titanium Grey, forse uno dei primi case della Fractal Design, acquistato circa 10 anni fa.
Sono stato costretto a sostituirlo con grande dispiacere perchè con la nuova configurazione del PC, con CPU i7-12700, non riuscivo a tenere a bada le temperature che arrivavano a pieno carico anche a 95°, mentre in idle non scendeva mai sotto i 30°.
Quindi ho optato per questo Meshify 2 in quanto mi permette di avere un ottimo airflow e avere dentro 5 HDD da 3,25" oltre agli SSD e NVMe.
Il case è stupendamente modulare e smontabile per consentire il perfetto montaggio dei componenti.
Il materiale di costruzione è ottimo, solido, ma mi sembra più solido quello del mio vecchio Define XL che da solo pesa 19KG, al contrario di questo che pesa meno di 11Kg.
Una volta assemblato il sistema all'interno diventa tutto super solido e pesante, ho fatto fatica a sollevarlo più di quanta ne mettessi con il Define XL.
Poi, grazie anche alla soluzione di ventole che ho usato, risulta essere iper silenzioso, cosa che non sono riuscito ad eguagliare con il Define XL nonostante quest'ultimo fosse rivestito di materiale fonoassorbente.

Quindi, fatto il settaggio automatico delle ventole dal BIOS, ho 5 ventole da 140mm non PWM in immissione di aria, 1 ventola da 120mm non PWM ad estrazione aria e 3 ventole da 140mm PWM ad estrazione aria, ho ottenuto un grande risultato, in idle o in uso normale di ufficio, senza il minimo rumore delle ventole, ho ottenuto una temperatura minima di 23°, mentre a pieno carico, con le ventole che girano a regime, ma senza rumori particolarmente fastidiosi, non supero gli 81°.
Che dire sono soddisfatto dell'investimento, sia per le prestazioni ottenute che per il design e la solidità.

Nachdem mein über 6 Jahre altes Lancool Gehäuse in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand gegangen ist, bin ich bei Fractal Design fündig geworden. Ins Auge gestochen ist mir als erstes die besonders gestaltete Front - überzeugt hat mich das sehr gut durchdachte Innenleben. Alles macht Spaß beim Zusammenbau, weil man keine Probleme hat seine Anschlüsse bzw. Kabel entsprechend zu verlegen. Das Gehäuse ist zudem sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und ein echter Hingucker.
