Couple knocks against it:
The thumbs screws are not good, the threading is pretty horrid on most of them requiring a screwdriver to unscrew them. I went ahead and replaced them with higher quality screws.
The pre installed fans are a tad loud when you put load on them. Airflow is great and they perform well stock but those sensitive to sound might find it annoying. Best to tweak bios settings to find the best fan curve for you or replace with Noctua fans.
Otherwise this case is amazing and looks great in almost any setting. If you want a case that is sleek, modern, understated but high quality, then this is the case for you.

Been building in Fractals for about a decade now. Solid and well thought-out designs, plenty of options for mounting fans and radiators to, adequate cable management channel space/tietowns. The North is no exception - great to build in and looks good on a desk or an AV shelf.
Cooling/noise-wise, the two stock fans up front are working perfectly fine in their default configuration. Even at their max speed, the noise is noticeable but tolerable. Only found that out because I plugged them into the AIO header on my board on accident rather than the PWM header. Oops!

The building was easy, although I never found a fan hub in the cable management section so don't let it break your heart on that level (no biggie for me). Perhaps it was for the mesh-sided case.
I LOVE the overall smart designs, especially the easy-release (my term) PSU dock. It's super useful when swapping out psu's or just working on cable management, especially with a fully modular PSU. And just the back design: It's beautiful. First time ever I could sneak a little 80mm rear exhaust fan in addition to the standard 120. Never thought I would check out a computer's backside so much, lol!
All the dust panels are incredibly easy to access and remove--YES!!! But be aware that the top slides off almost too easily, and the front could pop off fairly easily during transport. I now A. slide the top off and set it aside and B. I am VERY careful about not using the bottom of the front cover as a handle if I need to move the case. This thing is such a beauty--and really a design marvel--I don't want to risk dropping it.
Would recommend this to anyone. Thanks to Fractal Design for letting me have my cake and eat it too with my (secretly classy) bedroom/office gaming setup! I'm very incredibly pleased.

Working in the case itself is easy. Its very spacious and easy to disassemble and get to where you need to. Wire Management is easy to do and keep wires well organized. If you are going to do a front mounted radiator you do need to be mindful of your graphics card size. With a front radiator you can get a 380mm graphics card at most, and that's going to be a tight fit.
The case is easy to keep clean, stays cool, and is stays surprisingly quite for the mesh front and top. I did go with a glass side, figuring that would keep noise down since I put the computer in my living room.

This is also a very roomy mid-tower. Plenty of space for AIO liquid coolers and large video cards (see note below about bracing).
Just about every airflow option is available. The case breathes very well, but as a result isn't the quietest option out there.
But minus one star, as the materials used in this case, other than the wood, are sub-standard. The metal gauge is very thin, which causes flex in some critical areas. Heavy video cards will need a brace or kickstand, or risk cracking the motherboard over time. Be careful not to strip screws. Compared to my last Coolemaster case (which I could have screwed skateboard trucks to and skated down the sidewalk on), this case feels very flimsy.
In my opinion I would rather have paid a few dollars more for a a better built case, because Fractal is winning with their aesthetic designs.
