Parker was very important in ways others didn't know about. After what happened to him while in Europe he decided to stay with the Talons. It was very interesting to say the least that the Alhpa of the Talon he stayed with the one person he thought hated him....Brandon Brentwood.
Brandon Brentwood, Omega of the Talon Pack and the youngest of his family. He was one of the Brentwood triplets and the most secretive of the clan and for good reasons. When the past and the present collide, Brandon knew he would have to do whatever it took to keep them all safe.
Brandon didn't hate Park, he was just mad that the man tried to save him on the battlefield (WOLF BETRAYED). He was dying as well, being the Omega of the pack and unmated was taking its toll on him. Like Park, Brandon was keeping a secret ftom his loved ones. They knew each other had secrets and they were physically and mentally there for one another. Brandon was attracted to Park and vice versa.
Avery Montag, a photojournalist was the daughter of General Montag who was considered a traitor. She was willing to do anything to atone for her father's sins but she didn't have much to offer the wolves as a way of atonement. Avery wanted to help end the war between the humans and the supernatural beings.
When she showered up at the Talon Pack's den with a plan to help the packs, Avery didn't expect her life would be the one changed forever. There was more to Avery than everyone thought. She too had a secret she held close to her heart. As she, Brandon and Parker grew closer, the trio learned a lot about each other.
General Montag's accomplish McMaster was causing lots of trouble for the Talon Pack. But the man underestimated the bond between all the packs and the new triad within the Talon Pack.
Loved catching up with old friends and meeting new ones...This might be the end of one of the must crucial era in the wolves' lives but their troubles are far from being over. You'll have to read the book to find out why ;).
FRACTURED SILENCE is the fifth installment in Carrie Ann Ryan's TALON PACK series. It was mind-blowing, steamy, emotional and filled with unexpected twists and turns. Carrie Ann Ryan had me hooked from start to finish. Two thumbs up and five fan-freakin-tastic stars.
P. S. Looking forward to what the new era has in store for the Wolves.

"He wasn't sure he'd be enough." - Parker
Brandon, the Talon's Omega and younger brother to the Alpha, Gideon, doesn't want a roommate. He has his own issues to deal with right now, shouldering everyone's emotions and struggling with the impact they have on him, knowing if he doesn't find his mate soon, he won't be able to retain his sanity. Which Parker also has an effect on, though Brandon doesn't sense they're mates. When he and Parker are called to verify a visitor's intentions, they never expected her to identify herself as she did.
"Maybe his Omega bonds were truly on the verge of making him insane if this was how he reacted to a mere taunt." - Brandon
Avery, a photojournalist, has two things against her. First, her humanity. Second, and the one more detrimental to achieving her goal of assistance, is her parentage, more specifically her father though they hadn't spoken in Ten years, the general, the man responsible for attacks and experiments on the wolves. After Avery shares her reason for coming, she's sent on her way, an answer to soon be given. However, shortly upon Brandon and Parker leaving her, she's attacked.
"She was just a woman who needed to atone for the sins of her father." - Avery
Brandon and Parker sense something is wrong almost instantly after leaving Avery and that belief is proven when they find her, obviously gravely injured. Both know there's only one way to save her, and that though Avery may not want the life that was given to her without a choice, they need her to survive this.
As Avery adjusts to her new reality, with Brandon and Parker never far from her side, it isn't long before these three realize more changes are in store for them as their connection and chemistry seems to be leading them toward forming a triad. However, many obstacles stand in their way first.
Will both Brandon and Parker recover from whatever is making them ill? What secret is Avery keeping? When it's revealed, how will those closest to her react? Are Brandon, Parker, and Avery destined to be? Will the packs defeat the next threat interfering with their lives and freedom? Will everyone survive the coming war? Will Brandon, Parker, and Avery get their HEA? It seems as if Mitchell will be next...what pain is he trying to hide? Will his mate ever shake the taint of her past?
One-click now and follow along as three people, all struggling in their own ways, discover a love that will make them whole. Please keep in mind this is book five in the series and I highly recommend reading the titles in order.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**
Fractured Silence was an amazing and sizzling hot menage story. It reminded me of Trinity Bound which happens to be another favorite in the Redwood / Talon Pack series. Well, this one is just as sexy, exciting and series changing. It also gutted me something terrible but oh what an ending. Carrie Ann Ryan proved once again just why she is among the absolute best in the paranormal romance genre. She tore up my emotions with a couple of gut wrenching paragraphs and all I can say is thanks for a job well done.
I loved this book ! I can't say enough good words about it but it's definitely a must read for followers and new readers alike. I can't wait for Mitchell and Dawn .....
