Editorial Reviews

From the Author

Vanity, ambition and desire for praise and honor may fillip the writer to write, publish and hope for undeserved rewards. But if the writing is unfit service to others beyond their self, and/or a holy and more excellent authority, then nothing worthwhile was given and it only waits to become dust in the wind. Even undeserved wealth and fanfare will become dust.

The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe

Our lives are not meant for envy, yearning, or every enjoyment - especially not for constant ease, all delight and the finest luxuries. But we were made for greatness. Everyone. Such is our noble dignity.

We were not meant to speak and act from fear. Or be accomplice to the dark things that pretend they are us in our wickedness and despair. But we were made to stand, to shine, and to live in the light.

We were not meant to struggle with one another, flesh and blood, to dominate, deceive or manipulate, to kill or curse, to rob or defame, nor reject and discourage. We were made to know and to love our Father and also one another, building them up, keeping them, lifting them up in prayer and giving them honor.

We were made to look with wonder, worship and joy upon the countenance of a holy and beautiful God.

I'm writing for you and for me. I'm arming you with mighty weapons from the Kingdom. For war, for peace and for love. To fight the good fight. To scatter the enemy, break strongholds, and spoil every evil plot.

Take up these arms, these virtues that clothe, so handsomely, our good, dear friends who made the stories come to life for us, and YOU put on the whole armor of God. This wardrobe provides endlessly.

From the Back Cover

Abbreviated Praise

Stan gives us glimpses of the future that are as interesting as anything being said by Michio Kaku, Ray Kurweil, Marc Andreessen, and Jeff Bezos.

RIP Dollar and Euro! Viva la #Bitcoin!

-- Liam deTroch, Generation Z blogger

"The shock and horror is underwritten by a sensitivity and spirituality that exceeds expectation and skepticism. This is Kingdom art."

- Justin Fox, Chrsitian Game Designer

This fast and furious LitRPG, sci-fi book packs a punch like Saitama, the One-Punch Man, while giving us haunting glimpses of the near future and our existential predicament. With subtle hints of Dostoyevsky, Tolkien and The Walking Dead, this story is more delicious than the world's greatest chimichanga. Sorry, Deadpool.

-- Yogizilla, Founder of Geeky Antics, massive online community of gamers and other assorted geeks

The game design is genius. Haunting, dark, and clever.

-- Nolan May, Gtarcade - leading social and Facebook game company

A fantastic treatment that would be an excellent Netflix or Amazon series!!!

-- Rev. Thomas Fiorilla, Wedding Officant (he marries people)
The protagonist, a man of good character, high intelligence, and deep kindness is a man after humanity's heart -- he is as a man should be.

-- Jack King, author of Where Mountain Meets the Sea

Mr. Faryna gives us an exquisite montage of Sy-Fy, romance, and spiritual depth in a very fascinating world.

-- Normii Late, co-host of ZombieCast, the official internet radio show of the Zombie Research Society

The author's development of his characters is built layer, upon layer. One can't help falling in love Francesco.

-- Kitty Proud, Babyboomer, Gamer, Grandmother

The immersive game concept looks like a winner if the investment is right. 800 Million Dollars should do the trick, assuming the Dollar and Euro are not replaced by the UNIT and Bitcoin as the author suggests.

As other reviewers have suggested, this could make a great TV series. We sure could use the investment in Romania for a many season TV production. Jobs and tourists are always good!

-- Amazon.com Reviewer

Mr. Faryna does an excellent job in describing the human condition, no matter how painful it may be. In short -- This story is truly a must-read.

-- Ms. H of Mom's Minute Video Game Show

... captivating from the very beginning and it is so well written that it feels like someone hit the "play" button to a movie in your own head. An outstanding accomplishment for Stan Faryna's debut..."

-- Amazon.com Reviewer

Bottom line: you've got sci-fi futurism, gaming, zombies and I'm guessing a lot more down the line. I recommend 100 percent.

-- John Garret, Supreme Overlord of Hypertransitory.com

This is the beginning of something special and legendary. I want to binge watch 12 seasons. I want to play that virtual reality game... I'm not a gamer. I don't like science fiction. I also don't enjoy reading but I love this story.

-- Amazon.com Reviewer

The dystopian world described by Faryna is chillingly detailed, and there are some small, exquisite little details that make it seem more theoretically possible than most.
