The decaf beans are labeled as "medium/light" roast but this is clearly a DARK roast. I would call this a French roast. Not even close to "medium". The beans are brittle and OILY on the outside and all the flavor is cooked out of them. They taste "ok" for a dark roast but the roast level is completely misrepresented.

CuppingAfter the coffee is roasted, we prepare a tasting session. We start with 8.25 grams of roasted ground coffee, add 150 ml of 200-degree water, let it steep for a few minutes, and then begin tasting. |
RoastingRoast level determines the strength of your coffee. Every minute of the roasting process is critical in meeting our quality standards. From 12-20 minutes, a temperature change happens, taking each bean from raw to perfection. |

Having previously purchased the Rainforest blend from Costco I wanted to try another bean for the everyday. I drink two or three coffees a day so after a nice tasting coffee that's good value for money. I don't usual drink milk so like a stronger tasting bean. I have previously found the Rainforest blend to have quite oily beans, and were a little bitter for my taste, however having purchased the Columbian blend yesterday and not a few cups in its lovely.
