These headphones should be priced at about $20-$25. They do not fit my ears well, the bluetooth range is terrible, and the speakers sound like they are blown out when the volume is turned up all the way. The noise cancelling aspect is not good either.
First of all, none of the ear tips that come with this case fit well in my ears. I had to use a larger set from a different pair of headphones I had lying around. The ear hooks do not function as normal ear hooks do. Usually, gravity assists with keeping the headphones clinging in place to the backside of your ears, but these hooks rise above the backside of mine due to the hooks having a longer radius from the headphone tip to edge of hook than the radius of the headphone tip to the backside of my ear, if that makes any sense. Basically, the only thing keeping these headphones from falling out of my ears are the ear tips, rendering the hook aspect merely aesthetic.
Second, the bluetooth range. It is not impressive. I have owned 3 different sets of IEM bluetooth headphones now, and even though this pair is the most expensive, they are the worst in terms of bluetooth range. To give some perspective, while at the gym, if I am standing up doing a set of overhead military presses or something, I don't like to have anything in my pockets so I set my phone on the floor. The distance from my ears (almost 6 feet off the ground) to the floor where my phone is is apparently too much for these headphones to handle and cuts in and out. 6 feet!
Finally, the sound. The sound seemed really decent at first. I could actually hear the bass (which is an accomplishment on its own for being sub $50 IEM bluetooth headphones) and while I'm no audiophile, the sound was crisp and sounded pretty great. Then I took them to the gym. The gym is a naturally noisy environment so I turned the volume up almost all of the way. That is when the speakers sound like they have blown out. Maybe I have a defective pair, I'm not sure. But I'd rather listen to Justin Bieber over the gym ceiling speakers than my music sounding all distorted with these headphones.
These headphones look nice. But even if the sound quality was top notch, the fact that these don't stay in my ears well remains. So I give them 2/5 stars and will be returning them.
I'm not sure if I got a bad product or what, but it seems like a waste to me because I bought this to not have to have a wire and to be able to leave my phone on the counter and walk around my room but I can't due to the range issue.
