About Frank B. Connolly
A native of Connecticut, Frank B. Connolly has spent his entire career in Connecticut local government. He has been a town planner, town manager of three Connecticut municipalities, and a school business manager for several Boards of Education. He hold an 085 State Department of Education certification as a professional school business manager. He teaches in public administration at University of New Haven, and has published numerous articles on local government as well as on boating. He hold an undergraduate degree from Providence College, and Masters degrees both from Southern Connecticut State University and the University of Virginia. Frank is the author of the textbook "Local Government in Connecticut", currently in its 3rd Edition. He recently released his new novel "Hidden Agendas: Inside Town Hall", a fictional book that goes behind the scenes as developers try to obtain approval on questionable land in a small town in Connecticut. He served two years in the Peace Corps in Gabon, Africa, and holds a boat Captains license (OUPV), USCG Merchant Marine Credential. He is active in the USCG Auxiliary, and is the staff officer for Public Education (SO-PE).
