    I don’t find it to be scary, but I’m sure it was in 1818. As you read the book, it’s actually sad.. you feel sad for the monster and despite the spineless creator, Frankenstein.
    Of course as the movie portrays, he seeks what he can find, love. None can handle the sight of him, and he craves happiness.
    Interesting that is a story within a story.. Shelly relates some of her life experiences . For one , rejection.
    Completely different from any of the movies.. I think it’s a classic that should be in a readers collection.

Ich habe es ganz vorsichtig in meinem Rucksack transportiert ohne scharfe Gegenstände und es hatte danach direkt einen kleinen Riss hinten am Einband und die Kanten sind angeschlagen... Siehe Bilder. Das Buch wird halt echt nicht lange halten, wenn man es z. B. unterwegs liest. Ich finde das wirklich schade, weil ich die Geschichte wirklich toll finde und weil es ja schon etwas frech ist in meinen Augen, wenn man ein Taschenbuch so billig produziert (qualitativ), es aber dann trotzdem für fast 10€ verkauft. Ich habe auch andere Taschenbücher in der Preisklasse, aber ich habe noch nie einen so dünnen Einband gesehen, der so schnell beschädigt ist.
