Nice paddle, but clearly a production flaw

When I first starting using this paddle I liked it very much, it has a nice weight and feel to it. I noticed very soon the the surface was chipping, but I didn’t care much as the issue was only aesthetic. After a few weeks I noticed a large (3 inches) blister on the surface. This created a noticeable dead spot on the paddle. I returned the paddle with no problem and a new one was supplied. After three weeks, exactly the same problem with chipped face and, more importantly, a big blister on the surface. Clearly there is some sort of design or production flaw. I have ordered a different brand this time.
