Gabe Aldric is a gorgeous NYT Bestselling author who also happens to be Charlotte Young's American Lit professor. She is secretly in love with him but he completely ignores her, until the last day of her final exams when he suddenly calls her to proceed to his office.

Gabe has been lusting over Charlotte for the past four months from the time she entered his class. But he was bound by the university's Fraternization policy. However, when the last day of her class with him arrived, there was already no stopping him.

And he found out an exemption to the Fraternization Rule.

I'm so glad I read the third and final book of the Risqué Contracts Series ! This was a vibrantly written Professor - student insta-lovestory, embracing a May-December secret affair on whirlwind romance , with light BDSM , and a very happy ending - all rolled into one mega-sizzling hot quick read!

Fraternization Rule is the third novella in this series. It's the story of college student Charlotte and Gabe, her professor.

Gabe has wanted Charlotte the whole semester and has purposely ignored her in class and tried not to make eye contact. Even though Charlotte has a huge crush on Gabe, he's made it clear he's not interested. She's not sure what to think when he asks to see her in his office following her final exam. Soon enough, Gabe makes his intentions clear. Unfortunately, the college has a fraternization rule and Charlotte plans on attending graduate school. How will Gabe and Charlotte start a relationship?

This was a quick read with a little heat. It's insta-love with not much story.

Another quick, steamy read in this series of novellas. I really enjoy the insta-love thing, and I liked Charlotte's character a lot. I was not as much a fan of Gabe. For most of the story, I felt like he was a controlling a-hole, rather than the alpha-controlling type of the other two men in the series. I did like bits & pieces of his character - sometimes I could feel his caring and love towards Charlotte rather than the selfishness, but still he wasn't my favorite.

I still enjoyed the story, and I did warm up to him towards the end, so there's that! : )

So we have Gabe Alrdic who is H.O.T and we have young Charlotte Young who is in college lusting after her professor. Quick read and great steamy scenes. This author never disappoints you with her over the top male characters in all books that she writes :) Can't wait until I read your next book Mrs. Davenport! *Received ARC for an honest review*

I liked the other two books and wanted to read this one. I liked that there was no smex with OW/OM.
She was a virgin and he stopped being with others when he met her 4 months prior. He gets
credit for that as in my experience it is atypical for heroes to be celibate before hooking up with the
heroines, even after meeting them. I liked too that it was a KU story and the ending had an epilogue.

However, I was disappointed in the lack of chasing in his part. She was too much of a sure thing.
A virgin, she never even looked at anyone else but him and had been trying to get his attention
for months. We did not even read very much about her attempts or his conflict in not being with her
but having to see her everyday. Mainly just told about. Shortly after the book starts they are together.
There was no build up of attraction. There was no chemistry. The book starts, he tells her he wants
her, she ecstatic and then they smex.

Also, I love jealous and possessive heroes and the hero here claims to be one, but again just telling as opposed
to showing. There was no one for him to be jealous of. She does not look at anyone but him and
quickly blows off the only other man who showed interest in her.

Also there was the set up in this story to have a forbidden hot student/teacher interactions
as he was teaching her class. Since the name of the book is "Fraternization Rule"
I expected that being forbidden to come into play. Didn't happen. He ignored her until he finished teaching
her. I know is the more responsible and safe thing to do but that was not want I wanted.
She was not a minor but rather 21 years old so it was not like it was illegal to them
to get together.

3.5 stars. Charlotte has always admired Gabe from afar but thinks the love she feels for him is unrequited. As her professor, Gabe purposely maintains distance from Charlotte until she's no longer his student. Great chemistry with some hot and sexy scenes. I loved how crazy Gabe was over Charlotte.
