WTH? I hated how this book ended. Why would you spend so much time on a backstory AND write a good portion of a book in a character's POV only to NOT have the girl pick him in the end? What, was it to give US the reader closure on their relationship? I'd really like to know because in my opinion, it was totally unnecessary. I feel baited and strung along. Am I being dramatic and but*hurt over it, heck yeah, and that's fine because I bought this book and I stayed up until 5 am only to want to throw my Kindle across the room in frustration. I honestly can't ever remember feeling like this over a book, nor have I ever been so disappointed in an author or story.
I give it a 2 because the writing and dialogue were enjoyable up to a point.
Yeah ladies and gentlemen take this as a warning as how effective Rachel's hypnotic words have "The needs to know" grow exponentially with evey page you turn.
I love Em's character and obviously the selection of man candy Rachel offers in the form of Sanchez and Miller.
At first I was totally ruling for Miller to whisk Em's feet away from Sanchez. However halfway through my heart was torn between the two guys and I loved the final decision Em took.
I love Sanchez quick wit, easy going manner and that brain of his had me drooling.
My only recommendation is to add a warning/ disclaimer sign at the beginning of the book something like "DO NOT START AFTER 8PM" because you won't be able to put it down.😂😂😂 But I can't blame Rachel for my lack of self-control but rather to thank her for making me snort at 2:00 am, swoon at 12 and 2 am, at finally pre-ordering her next book at 3 am
Emerson is a professional cheerleader in the NFL. I never actually thought about the amount of work that goes into those routines and the hardships these ladies face. I loved the fact that Emerson wasn't your typical girl you would find cheering, she had curves and in my mind she was very relatable. Miller and Sanchez are two professional NFL players who both want Emerson. So what would you do when your first love and the hot captain of the football team both want you? I was so unsure throughout the book as to who I would like Emerson to end up with, and even though I do not want to give anything away, I have to say I'm happy who she eventually chose and that they got their HEA.
I loved the writing in this book, I was hooked from the very beginning! The storyline had everything from romance, angst, and witty banter. I shed a few tears along the way as well, but I loved their journey.
I highly recommend this book, it was a fun and flirty read that I thoroughly enjoyed!
I received an arc and volunteered a review.
I cannot believe over 400 people thought this story was worth 4 or 5 stars! How could this be??? This was an appalling book and it felt like a teenager had written it. The heroine was a totally self-centered brat with no redeeming qualities and before long I didn't WANT her to get an HEA at all. The male leads were shallow and uninteresting and I was having thoughts about putting the book down by the time I reached the 15% mark!! Nevertheless I persevered only to find that the author had played around with the unwritten "contract" authors have with the reader about who the Hero and Heroine are and who will end up with whom. That was sort of interesting, except for the fact that I was left wondering why I had trudged through all of Miller's thoughts and backstory if in fact, he was sort of a "bit" player instead of the Hero. The result of this of course was also that the guy who ends up getting the girl is nowhere near as fleshed out and I sort of couldn't see what was going to keep these two together. But in any case, by the time I got to the bitter end of this drivel, I just didn't care anymore. I recommend you save yourself the time and skip this one.

Life took a different turn when Miller's mother dies and his dad moves him to the other side of the counrty. How will their friendship survive? Miller and Em cross the line that should never take place between friends and everything changes.
The story picks up when Em secures her place as a cheerleader for the Bucks. She has realised her dream. In the meantime we has followed Miller's professional football life. He's made it but for a different team. What they don't realise is that their lives are going to collide again. How will they both react? Can they get their friendship back?
Lots of tension between them both. A second chance at friendship when both have been seriously hurt by each other and the awkwardness of their lives crossing again. Great story and now on to book 2!
This story was beautiful ♥ it had heartbreak, unrequited love, beautiful friendships and a HEA!
I adored This book! I also love that we got points of view from Emerson, Miller & Grant.
It was a live triangle with men rivaling for the top lead but at the same time it was a beautiful love story where you see how much the characters care for one another even in the hard times!
I read the whole book in one sitting i just couldn't put it down! I needed to know what was happening and what happened in the past and I just had to see who she picked! And I'm sure So will you! Enjoy
I cried, I laughed & I swooned! Next on my list is Infraction!
