It can make a good gift, though, for people who just want a cute item to show off. While its actual functionality is questionable, it can be a great item just to have sitting around in the kitchen as a conversation starter, or for a quick laugh with friends.
But it's pretty lousy at protecting your fingers from hot things. The silicone is pretty thin. If the finger pad area was about twice as thick it might do it's job perfectly. As it is, it's best suited for sitting on the counter and looking awesome.

I want more of these! They are so much fun and they work well.Published 9 months ago by elizzrdbeth
A little small for men, so you feel the heat out of the glove (around the hand) but it's a neat gift.Published 13 months ago by A. Rivera
Love this Pac man pot holder, fits really well in your hand, and it looks cool while keeping your hands cool! (oh, I'm soooo punny). It even has the maze on the inside! Read morePublished on May 22, 2013 by Boston Novelist
Love this thing. It is not made for pulling stuff out of the oven, its not very heat resistant for that, but for using on the stove top it's great.Published on February 8, 2013 by J. Hand
The inside of the mouth is too thin, and your hand can get disturbingly hot if you hold on to something for more than a moment. Which kind of defeats the purpose.Published on December 15, 2012 by N. Luchsinger
It's really cute and I love the design, but it is really thin in the mouth...so you can't hold on to anything hot for very long or your fingers will burn...kind of disappointing.Published on November 13, 2011 by K
I received this as a gift from my boyfriend and absolutely love it. While some may find it to be an issue to store, it's worth making the room for. Read morePublished on September 7, 2011 by TMesserBass
