These would make for some good stocking stuffers.
After reading all of the reviews on how thin this glass was, I was a little hesitant to purchase this product. Three days later I decided to take my chances. After receiving my package I immediately washed it and began using it. I will also purchase two more sets when money allows.
The "thin-ness" of this product seems equal to regular dinner glasses. As well as bumping it on the sink during washing, I (lightly) bashed against the glass with my knuckle and (lightly) bumped it on the corner of the desk. I am pleased with the durability of this product and will continue to use my glass daily. (I imagine dropping this glass on a hard floor would have the same results as a normal dinner glass, but I will not try that... on purpose.) These glasses are made from borosilicate glass and seem, to me, very sturdy under normal use.
Another feature I like about this product: unlike the dinner glasses I grew up with (rounded bottom edges), this glass has an extremely flat bottom. After several (light) attempts at trying to knock the filled cup over, all I saw was some sliding.
For those not interested in alcoholic drinks: Try the Lemon Lime flavor of Powerade Zero... it has a similar color all on its own.
