This game was not very good. I pretty much beat it on almost all the difficulties, but once you're done that's it. If you keep playing it, there is no point to it. The replay value of this game plunged on me, and once I beat it, I never played it again. Plus, it is very easy, so in a matter of hours, you will beat it and let it collect dust in your closet.
I was extremely disappointed at the racism shown to Russians in this game. The game is about blowing the heads off Russian soldiers invading New York City, raising the American flag, and leaving. Every level is like that, except some are in the snow and some are in the city.
What really pissed me off was the length of the game. Any idiot can beat this game in a matter of 2 hours on normal difficulty. NOT EVEN THE EASY DIFFICULTY!!!!! There are not many guns. Here are a list of the weapons you have:
-Your trusty Wrench to bash the heads off Russians.(always equipped)
-C4 Charges
-AK-47
-Submachine gun
-Heavy Machine Gun
-Sniper Rifle
-Rocket Launcher
-Shotgun
-Revolver
-9mm 17 ammo clip pistol
-Grenades
-Moltov Cocktails
The sound really isn't too good, either, and the Russians scream non-sense at you and your men right before they turn you into swiss cheese.
I would not recommend this game to most people unless you don't have anything else to spend your money on I guess.

I picked it up, hoping to get a good 3rd person shooter with squad-based action, and that's exactly what I got. The AI is absolutely fabulous in this game, especially when it's considered that it's on the Gamecube. Your fellow revolutionaries respond to combat like they would in real life, and they follow your orders when you give them, which is better then most games. The shooting is a bit lacking, though. At first, I was using the over-the-shoulder aiming mode for my shooting, but then I noticed that firing from the hip was more effective, which was kind of disappointing. The lack of a reload button was awkward at first, but the auto-reload after you stop firing is easier then most games, once you get used to it, at least.
The levels don't have that much variety, especially at the beginning. Walk around, shoot some Soviets, blow up something, and then claim a flag. At least, that's the pattern for most of them. Later, though, they pull a fast one and move you from the run 'n' gun attitude that the game seems to want you to have at the beginning, and throws you into a stealth level, which is a pain.
Overall, though, I liked it, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good shooter for their Gamecube.

Simple, but amazing gameplay. One of my favorite games for the Gamecube that I continue to relive through.
Becomes very difficult. You can easily play most of the first half going out guns blazing, but do need to learn to be patient, scope out areas for rooftop scouters, snipers, helicopters, etc., so you don't find yourself surrounded by Reds.

Too many scratches on the disc so the game kept freezing at the same spot.

I’m very happy with my purchase, as soon as I got the package I opened the box to check the quality of the disk and it’s perfect, great job!

Condition was as ordered and product was well received. My son was over the moon to have this game. I took it away several years ago when it wasn't age appropriate, now that he is the appropriate age, he was eager to play.

This game isn't for the run and gunners. It takes strategy and thought to get through it. The stages really want you to back track as you clear mid goals to gain the big prize and raise the flag.
The Gamecube has fewer buttons and no clickable thumb sticks so the controls take a few moments to adjust. In some aspects it's okay because there's a dedicated inventory wheel button, but allocating things to the d pad make it odd. The main face buttons deal with the commands and the triggers are for aiming and shooting.
Graphically the this version came out of the oven too soon. Both the PS2 and Xbox versions look better. It's not a bad looking game, but textures and shadows are definitely toned down or missing. Though it does offer widescreen for a better viewing shot.
I think the voice acting is strong because the dialog is short, but engaging. I also like the sound effects of the guns and explosions.
