Stephanie Holland's book stamps an imprint that leaves you feeling alert, ALIVE, awake, and aware — uplifted, worthy, and hopeful to create a legacy and leave your own imprint on the world. It's all about embracing personal empowerment and, hence, empowering others.
The segments I resonated most with and enjoyed to the hilt address how food makes you feel, breathing exercises, failure is just feedback, comparison is a false god and the thief of joy, friends and family are training wheels for future critics, napping is a good thing, happy feet equals happy nervous system, and exhaustion and passion aren't good bed fellows.
Now I want to try chocolate chia quinoa pudding with maple syrup + blueberries for breakfast and treat myself to some Stella McCartney lingerie. Oh, and always remember to brush my tongue.

I love Stephanie! Her advice comes from her experiences of doing and succeeding. This book is my go-to manual for creating the life I want and that Stephanie already has. It's full of life-hacks which is super useful for getting sh*t done and creating more purpose and meaning in your life in general. Stephanie is such an inspiration and I'm so grateful to have taken this journey with her. I feel as though she's in my mind; I felt like she was hearing my thoughts, fears, concerns about starting up, and responding directly to them with logical reasoning and perspective shifts. Her style is really raw and peppered with quotes and research; I love the tone, it's really conversational and was one of my favourite aspects. The content was amazing. It's a free flowing, fast paced yet structured style that takes you on a fun journey. It’s a no BS kind of conversational style that I really like. I love the positive, fast paced tone, it really revs you up. I got the feeling I could trust her completely in giving me direction. I particularly loved the content about how to create a 'thriving life' as well as her personal anecdotes and experiences. The only thing left to add is my appreciation.

Don’t JUST read Stephanie’s new book. Don’t rush. I couldn’t resist putting theory into practice as I read on. Creating, changing, experimenting with my morning ritual, calibrating and re-calibrating my mindset, doing what REALLY MATTERS.
Family, friends, flow.
I brainwashed and discovered the importance of „white space”. This is the difference that makes the difference: it helps to let go the constant need for doing „something” instead of just enjoying life.
What is freedom life? Free from stress, worries, anxiety.
This book is a manual for freedom life.

The Freedom Philosophy works on sorting you out and building you up from the inside. It had not properly occurred to me that I need to start managing my own life better if I was to have any hope of managing a start-up and surviving the ups and downs that this would entail. I really hadn't considered the importance of things such as self-care and a good morning routine nor had I given any thought to rituals for focussing and working productively. I needed to be reminded that if you employ self discipline at the beginning, over time the behaviour will become easy, habitual and part of your lifestyle. And if your idea fails, at least you are already living the 'freedom' life you want to live - eventually if you keep thriving inwardly and tweaking and modifying your idea, product or service, your start-up will be a success.

Stephanie Holland talks to you as the knowledgeable friend who knows your doubts before you have even properly articulated them to yourself. Her tone is so down to earth and encouraging and has set me on the path to removing those life blocks that I had been throwing up at every opportunity. She highlights the importance of always 'showing up' and working towards goals incrementally. There is stuff I could be doing right now but have felt too overwhelmed to even start ... this book has inspired me to do so.

Stephanie goes though some of the thought leaders of our time ideas, systems and methods to help motivate and encourage you to create a freedom life and business while NOT burning out, as well as what she has learn along her own journey.

Overall I really enjoyed this book even as a someone who has been in business for over 10 years, and has read nearly all the business, self-help and philosophy books on the market.
