I've used this for RASA coffee alternative and long brew herbal teas and it works great. I love that my kids can't break it like they did with my glass one, I love that you won't burn yourself touching the outside when there is boiling liquid inside. I love the way it looks, I leave it on the counter next to a houseplant and it looks classy. The press fits perfectly snug in a good way.
If I had to choose an improvement to make, is love for the lid to fit a bit more snug. I once watched an ant walk up the side and into the inside through the spout, while the lid was turned to "closed". But I'm not complaining. It never promised to be ant proof 😂
