Years ago McCormick used to sell at the "warehouse" store a product called Tuscan Style Italian seasoning. After contacting them regarding why I couldn't find it anymore, I was told they discontinued it. Which was a shame as it was a delicious blend, unlike all their other Italian seasoning blends which are nothing to brag about. Realizing how important finding safe spices and herbs truly is to our family's health, I came upon this company. I ordered it and was dismayed when the label contained a tiny warning about containing peanuts and treenuts. I immediately wrote to the company since none of this was on the Amazon product page. Well I got a timely, polite and wonderful response to tell me they are actually a peanut-free and tree nut free facility and take further precautions to make it so. My particular product just didn't have the updated label and in actuality they always have been peanut-free and tree nut-free! So I am happy to report that the Italian seasoning is delicious and it is indeed peanut-free and tree! So, if you are looking for a wonderfully blended Italian seasoning that tastes better and is better for you and doesn't just taste all of oregano, try this! My family agreed that after I used it, "my" sauce tasted like "my" sauce again in their rigatoni with meatballs... I am hoping to try some of their other products in the future.
