A good clean read for all to enjoy!
I went back to college after my divorce and I could feel her pain, her struggles and her triumphs. The well written novel depicts a real world. Meredith could be the woman next door, toiling away to keep family life, personal life and scholastic achievement in balance. . . . somewhat.
Entertaining and quick to read. A perfect book to read when you're tired of super heroes and fantasy character and are looking for a character you can relate to.
I would recommend the book to college students as well, so they can get a deeper understanding of older students in a class setting.
This story is somewhat of a cliffhanger. Not all questions are answered.
Easy to follow and difficult to put down. No violence or drag-you-down drama.
Realistic storyline. Believable characters with distinct personalities. Thought-provoking and snarky dialogue.
No desire to re-read this story. I may be interested in other works by this author.
Yes, as Meredith soon found out, cracking textbooks, attending classes, and taking tests, which she had not done for many years, was harder than she ever thought it would be. Continuing to maintain her single mom home, while competing with young classmates for academic achievement, was a daunting task, which she considered terminating several times. How she overcame these obstacles makes for a fast paced novel, which is fun to read.
I highly recommend this fast paced story to everyone who wants to enjoy a good read. Now I wonder who will play the part of Meredith and the other characters in the book.
communication with mom current and believable. If you are looking for an intense read, this is not the book..nice for a change!
