Many customers have found creative ways to use Freshware silicone molds (depending upon the shape) to create delicious homemade cupcakes, muffins, brownies, cookies, cheesecakes, quiches, breads, chocolates, candies, tarts, butters, caramels, ice cubes, frozen baby foods, gelatin, ice creams etc. Other customers use the molds in unique ways to create clays, resin casting, candles, soaps and more.
All Freshware silicone products DO NOT have Chemical Coatings and are Pinch Test Passed. Our silicone mold handles temperature from -40 to +446 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to +230 degrees Celsius). Reusable for up to 3,000 uses, our molds save money by eliminating the need to ever buy disposable paper liners again. Safe to use in the Oven, Refrigerator, Freezer, Microwave, Steamer and Dishwasher. Top rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the product.
What Is A Pinch Test? Cheaper brands often use plastic fillers in their silicone products, so it is not safe for high-temperature baking. Pinch and twist a bit of the silicone, if it turns white, it’s got fillers as 100% pure silicone will retain its color.

When the chocolate gets soft and I was able to spoon it in with a small horsdorves spreader, on the bottom and sides of the cup. Then placed in freezer for a few minutes.
I used plain, natural peanut butter and scooped out a small amount with a spoon and placed it in each cup. I had more chocolate melting, while adding the pb. Then topped them all off with more chocolate and then back in the freezer to set them for a few more minutes.
They turned out great!
I'd estimate the cup to be about three ounces and when 2/3rds filled, produces a perfect PB cup. I'm also going to use this to make brownies and lemon bars with a signature look.
Love the Freshware line!
Two tips: like professional silicone bakeware for a commercial kitchen, the product is floppy without a pan/sheet/mat to support it. Place the pan on something rigid underneath before you fill it to prevent spillage.
DO NOT SOAK SILICONE BAKEWARE IN SOAPY WATER! If you do, it'll pick up a soapy taste that's hard to get out. Hand wash after using with a sponge and mildly-scented (or unscented) dish soap and rinse immediately. If you do need to soak it for some reason, use plain water.
First: always place the silicone pan on a flat cookie sheet for stability. Second: spray lightly
with Pam spray. One tablespoon of batter is all that's needed. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 - 20 min. and
perfect round cookie. No cutting, rolling ... just easy, easy, easy!
Note: Never wash in dishwasher...just soak it in the sink with a little dish-washing detergent and let
dry on dish rack or wipe with paper towel. They will last for years. I hope this was helpful info.
