This mold is constructed with 100% pure, professional quality food-grade silicone, which meets US FDA and European LFGB safety standards (BPA, PVC and Phthalate FREE). Simply pour your favorite recipe in the mold, prepare, and cool completely. Then turn it upside down, this flexible silicone mold offers a non-stick surface that allows the baked goods to pop right out with a little push from the bottom. Remember to place the silicone mold on a baking sheet for easier positioning and removal.

Mold Size: 12.9 x 9.4 x 1.1 inch. Cavity Size: 2.5 inch top x 1.9 inch bottom diameter x 1.1 inch depth. Volume: 12 x 2.5 oz, Total 30 oz.

Many customers have found creative ways to use Freshware silicone molds (depending upon the shape) to create delicious homemade cupcakes, muffins, brownies, cookies, cheesecakes, quiches, breads, chocolates, candies, tarts, butters, caramels, ice cubes, frozen baby foods, gelatin, ice creams etc. Other customers use the molds in unique ways to create clays, resin casting, candles, soaps and more.

All Freshware silicone products DO NOT have Chemical Coatings and are Pinch Test Passed. Our silicone mold handles temperature from -40 to +446 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to +230 degrees Celsius). Reusable for up to 3,000 uses, our molds save money by eliminating the need to ever buy disposable paper liners again. Safe to use in the Oven, Refrigerator, Freezer, Microwave, Steamer and Dishwasher. Top rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the product.

What Is A Pinch Test? Cheaper brands often use plastic fillers in their silicone products, so it is not safe for high-temperature baking. Pinch and twist a bit of the silicone, if it turns white, it’s got fillers as 100% pure silicone will retain its color.

Easy to use mini bread loaf pan, good for hors d'oeuvres...

Easy to use mini bread loaf pan, good for hors d'oeuvres...
When baking our Black Canyon sourdough bread, I found that the boules that I was making would get hard in spots and were not all of equal shape. So the search began for something to use in baking this bread. I made the boules in a small enough size that we would have six loaves that could generally be cut into three to four slices from each one, making them a sandwich, or two, size per loaf. What I really wanted was a square shaped, or close to, small bread pans that could be used for mini loaves of bread, but couldn't find anything similar to what I was looking for. I then looked at various mini bread loaf pans and decided to try these out.I used our new Ozeri Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale, Elegant Black to measure out six loaves. Then I broke three of those into two parts each, pressed them into the Freshware 6 cavity loaf mold, for the rectangular shape, and used those to make stuffed ham and cheese (which didn't come out as nearly good as they were in my mind). The remaining three pieces of dough were pressed into the Freshware silicone loaf mold, which was now lightly sprayed with cooking spray, and pretty much filled each cavity. The mini Black Canyon sourdough bread loaves came out wonderfully, using this Freshware silicone loaf mold, after allowing them to rise. We'll be cutting the loaves down the long way for regular sandwiches, or the short way for making little sandwiches. I will definitely be skipping on the ham and cheese idea in the future and will stick to baking only six loaves using this loaf mold. The Freshware silicone mold is a must-have if you plan on baking mini bread loaves. The loaves could be cut in different directions to provide the size of bread slices you desire, which means that you could either have a couple of sandwiches per loaf or quite a few slices of bread for hors d'oeuvres. If you found this review "Helpful", please click the button below.

It's sometimes hard to set aside tried and true things for the new and different/unusual. Silicone is a relative newcomer to the baking field, and as it's touted to be baking perfection, certainly my first reaction is a healthy degree of skepticism. Nonetheless, I have purchased a number of silicone pans from Amazon and am quite pleased to report my fears were unfounded.

One thing should be said upfront: almost all the silicone pans available on Amazon have relatively small cavities in relatively small (overall) pans. I tend to just guess at the size (holding up two fingers a certain distance apart isn't very accurate) so if the size is critical to you, by all means use a ruler to measure out the size so you'll know what you're getting. So many of the critical reviews about these items are about their size, though the size is usually included in the description and the reviewer just didn't read enough of the description or didn't read it carefully enough.

They are flexible, so must be filled and baked on a cookie sheet. It's important to let baked goods cool in the pan before removing them. Silicone does not conduct heat in quite the same way metal does, so occasionally I find a muffin or other baked goods whose sides are not as brown with the bit of "crust" you find in a metal pan. They are fully cooked, they just look a bit anemic sometimes.

I tend to wash them by hand, though they are machine washable. They wash easily as they are so nonstick, and a few minutes in the warm oven drys them and they are ready for storage.

My most recent use for this pan was to form pralines at Christmas. I am finding I want things to be perfectly round, and using this as a mold (with several other silicone pans) for the hot pralines helped them set up round and professional looking. I have also baked chocolate chip cookies in these pans, for a beautiful round cookie that looks like it came from a bakery.

If you're interested in trying these out, just let your creative side free, and imagine all the uses you can for these.

I am pleased to review Freshware CB-104RD 6-Cavity Mini Silicone Mold for Soap, Bread, Loaf, Muffin, Brownie, Cornbread, Cheesecake, Pudding, and More. They are of very high quality silicone, thick yet pliable. The product quality itself is superior, without flaws of any kind. They stand up to the dishwasher without obvious negative effect and also clean up very easily by hand. I appreciate that the apparent durability allows versatility of use, whether for freezing liquids or baking, or anything else that can be imagined.

Having extensive experience with numerous silicone food prep, cooking and baking products over the past 25 years, I would place this product's quality as among the finest I've used. Purchasers won't be disappointed. I expect and will likely receive many, many years of service from each mold purchased, making these products also of exceptional value for the price paid.

While I do not personally find use for the other sizes offered, I would not hesitate to purchase them if the need arises.

Each cavity holds about 4-1/2 ounces of liquid without being full to the danger point of imminent spillover.

After trying a friend's identical Freshware molds, I purchased a total of 12 for the initial purpose of freezing numerous batches of my home made, collagen-rich bone broth. This labor-intensive process is not something one would willingly do often, so making several approximately three-quart final yield batches at a time allows a break of a couple of months before starting the process again. I put two seven-high stacks, with separators, in the freezer at a time. The "brothsickles" peel out of their cavities with ease, which I wrap in Stretch-Tite, bag and then keep frozen until use. After many back-to-back uses, the Freshware molds look, feel and respond as new, with the interior of each cavity retaining their almost polished appearance. Nothing sticks. They work so well, I can't wait to use them for other things.

A GREAT product that can be purchased with complete confidence.
