The only thing that you need to be aware of is that the cutting height of the carbide is 1-5/8". For most applications, that's fine. It barely worked, though, on my 2x 3/4" hardwood table top.
Just a bit (!!!) of math in the planning of the jig.
I probably made between 750 -1000 linear feet in cuts and the first cut was as good as the last. It also worked great for rounded and detail cuts. I never had a problem with chatter, which also had to do with having a good router to work with.
It always amazes me. Most woodworkers spend FAR more on router bits than they EVER spend on routers. Buy quality bits for great results. I love Freud, Amana, Whiteside, CMT. They are all quality bits. Freud however is my favorite.
