Style Name: 1-Inch to 5/8-Inch Saw Blade Bushing
I just bought 6 of these bushings to recycle a 1" arbor dado set I have from a previous saw for use on my new Delta table saw. I was skeptical about stacking these things, but they worked great! The dado ran true and round with no wobble or vibration. The only problem I had with these bushings was that the fit is rather tight. I needed to tap them into the 1" hole on the dado blades, then "work" them on to the saw arbor. Once they were on the arbor, the center hole loosened enough for easy blade removal, except for 1 bushing that was still a little too tight. I guess a tight fit is better than a loose one for something like this, so I believe they will be fine. Once the bushings were on the blades, they remained in place. To remove them I had to place the blade on a block with a space under it, and tap the bushing. My summary is that they do exactly what they say they will do, adapt a 1" saw blade to a 5/8" arbor without any performance loss.

I have an old craftsman table saw w/12inch blade. It has a 5/8 arbor and you can no longer find 12" blades w/5/8 in arbor. This adapter worked fine. It is a tight fit, as it should be. I knocked it in place with a rubber mallet.

Worked well, and makes this old saw usable once again.

I was weary because I wondered if it would be unstable, but it's a tight fit and worked great with a 12" Dewalt blade. No worries.

I purchased this bushing to use on a Craftsman sliding miter saw. I also purchased a brand new Freud blade for the saw. The inside diameter worked fine. But the outside diameter (OD) measured 1.004. The saw blades run between 1.001 and 1.002. This means that the bushing would not fit in the new Freud blade or the old Craftsman saw blade. I ended up carefully grinding the OD that measured between .998 and 1.000. I was a machinist in a previous career, and realize the bushing I could be out of round by a few thousands. but it seems to work. What upsets me is that I paid 9 times more than Freud's competitors bushing. I could have spent 99 cent for a poorly manufactured bushing instead of 9 dollars. Stay away from this bushing.

It is a shame to pay this kind of money for something they used to supply with the saw blades. I sure it will work, but come on folks these used to be free with the saw blades. It is not much more than a $0.50 bushing/washer, unfortunately it is not included with the blades anymore and not available at HD, Lowes or Sears, so what choice do we have? Damn freight more than the part.

This arrived on time and was just what I needed. I purchased some very nice industrial quality carbide Saw blades at a garage sale for 5 bucks. I knew they had an arbor hole too large for my saw but this took care of that on the cheap. The bushings snapped right in and bade arbor hole now fits just fine. Now I just need to figure how not to loose the tiny things :).

Got this to go with the Freud LU91M012 saw blade that has a 1" center (bought them both at the same time) since my saw a Dewalt 7790 which has a 5/8" arbor, it is hard finding a good 12" blade with a 5/8" with out having to pay a premium price. Personally I think the price was a little high for this bushing, but since both the bushing and blade are from Freud I was hoping that the fit would be good, well, it fit the saw blade perfect, bit of a tap, fit nice and snug just as if the blade had a 5/8 center. I was worried that such a tight fit might have distorted the center, but it didn't and fit the 5/8 arbor of my saw nicely.

Style Name: 5/8-Inch to 1/2-Inch Saw Blade Bushing
I paid almost $7 for it. I was expecting something more durable. It's just a cheap washer that is 1/2" inside and 5/8" outside diameter. It is a single use item. It had to be hammered into the blade then it barely fit over the spindle and had to be tapped into place with a hammer to get it to fit flush on the saw. I was hoping for something easier to use. I would not mind if it was a pack of ten for the price but I can not justify the price I paid. The only reason I do give it 3 stars is because I have not found a better one yet otherwise it would have been worse.
