In our custom project we were looking for a front vented slide or built in beverage cooler. In addition, one that was not too deep or too wide given our limited space to work with. This worked perfectly. The cooler has kept a rock solid consistent temp of 38 degrees. We also have it pretty full at the moment and have experienced zero issues of temperature variance in the beverages whether they be on the top near the fan or bottom of the cooler. The simple adjustable shelves made it easy to remove to accommodate taller drinks such as bottles of beer and/or spirits.
Because it is built in to our cabinet the noise is muted and very quiet when cycling. The blue LED light surprisingly is bright enough to give the entire cooler a very cool ambiance. Came packaged very well and without damage. One thing we learned during installation is to accommodate enough room for the door swing. The door is hinged on the outside corner requiring you to leave room to open past the side of the cooler as opposed to flush with the side of the cabinet, if that makes sense.
All in all very pleased with our purchase. I would definitely purchase again.

Product Description
- Whether you drink wine with your dinner or enjoy having a few bottles on hand for a night of relaxation, having them on hand at the perfect temperature and ready to go is crucial. Without a wine fridge cooler large enough to handle your supply, your bottles end up just sitting around, unprotected and making a big mess in your kitchen or other storage area. With the Metal Refrigerated Cabinet Wine Cooler, you can harness all of the convenience of wine refrigerator storage with the added benefit of cooling technology.
- Each bottle sits inside of the durable metal, silver-toned waved wired shelves that keeps them in place no matter what. Inside of the metal refrigerator wine rack, there is a soft LED light that shines the perfect amount of illumination onto the bottles without causing an eyesore, giving you plenty of light for you to read your labels.

This is such a disappointment. We have a valuable French and Italian wine collection and the bottles do not fit on the non adjustable shelves. This product is not as represented. Waiting to hear from the manufacturer.

SHIPPING: I would strongly advise you inspect your delivery thoroughly upon arrival. I had to return my first one because there was visible damage to the bottom of the box and denting to the front of the unit itself (perhaps from aggressive dolly usage). The second one was actually sent strapped to a small, wooden crate, which eliminated that issue.
ODOR: Mine arrived with a horrible odor inside, so bad you could smell it across the room. I let it sit (with the door open due to the odor) for 24 hours. Then I wiped it with water, as per instructions. It did not help at all. I plugged it in and waited another 24 hours. That did not help. I put in a box of baking soda. Nothing helped! After a week I filled it with soda cans hoping constant use would help...NO...all the sodas just smelled awful as well. Some people call it a chemical smell, like glue. I think they are being far too kind. My son described it like yogurt that had gone bad and I could not agree more. I has a horrible, rotten, sour smell. UPDATE: THE PROBLEM IS THE AIR FILTER - I RECOMMEND THROWING IT OUT IMMEDIATELY. I actually ended up removing the filter, cutting with back round edge with a razor, then beating it with a hammer to remove the disgusting contents (there is no way that is pure carbon!). I wouldn't even throw that stuff in my trash can without sealing them first in an airtight container. Even my hands smelled awful for a while afterwards. I have a replacement filter on the way, but I'm not confident that it will smell any better, so I kept the face of this one intact, just in case. Better to have nothing in it than whatever they sent me the first time! I have since had to wash the entire cooler again, top to bottom, including the racks and all the sodas I had in there...and I can still smell that odor faintly...but it is much better now. I also cut open a fresh lime, placed it on a napkin on a tray inside, and it freshened it up a lot!
FUNCTION: It seems to be cooling well and it runs fairly quietly. I wish the lighting was better, however. You can manually turn it on or off with the push of a button, but there is no option for it to go on and off automatically when you open and close the door; the color is very blue; and it's only in one location at the top which gets blocked by cans. The stock pictures of this unit show upright cans on the second shelf, which we found to be completely impractical as the top shelf literally sits on top of the cans that way. We had to lay them horizontally in order for the shelves to open and close smoothly without dragging or knocking over cans below. This will negatively impact how many cans are able to fit in there...although we can still fit a lot.
BOTTOM LINE: If you want the top of the line cooler, there are slightly taller, more expensive options out there, with better reviews, and more bells and whistles, that probably smell a lot better right out of the box...but this one is a pretty good value, that looks nice, and with some effort will probably be alright.

DIMENSIONS: My cutout (originally for a trash compactor) is 15" x 35". The width of the cooler fits well with plenty of wiggle room to slide in and out without issue, yet fills up the space nicely. The door, however, is quite thick, so due to the way it hinges open, the face of the door cannot sit flush with the rest of the cabinetry, it must be pulled forward approximately 1 1/2" (unless your cutout is wide enough to allow for the thickness of the corner of the door to swing into). This also puts the handle jutting out approximately 3" from the face of the rest of the cabinetry. The height, with the legs extended as much as possible, still leaves a 3/4" gap. I wish it were taller or at least offered more flexibility in the legs to fill that gap.

This is an excellent beverage refrigerator and was perfect to use in a small and exact space between cabinets in the kitchen. It is not get extremely cold - so I would stick to only putting beverages and wine inside of it. What makes this refrigrator better than the rest is that the venting system is on the front. This means you can put it in between items without having to worry about venting it. It is very quiet. We NEVER hear it. The light is cool for when we have parties. The only thing I would change is if we were able to figure out the shelving configuration ourselves. But it is on grooves, so you are limited. But we still manage and love our refrigerator!! Also it is a nice looking machine. The handle and stainless face and grill blend so very well with my kitchen and other stainless appliances!
Just adding on to my original review. We still love this fridge and it is still working as well as the first day we got it. I just would like to point out that although the venting is in the front, the unit still does generate heat on the sides. Our unit is surrounded by cabinets and the cabinet, particularly on the left gets hot inside from the heat coming from the unit on the other side of the wood. So make sure you don’t keep any perishable items next to the unit.

It is quiet and it does maintain temperature fairly well. Before purchasing this wine fridge I carefully tried to understand what bottle size this fridge accommodated. I was assured it fit "all standard bottles". That is absolutely not the case. Even with a "standard bordeaux" sized bottles, you cannot fill an entire shelf due to bottle length. If you want to add single slightly larger diameter bottle such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noire, or Sryah, you must remove shelves for them to fit. Even the top shelf doesn't have enough vertical room for these bottles. In the end, I wind up stacking bottles on the bottom of the fridge and then need to pull half of them out when looking for the bottle I want. The shelves are bamboo, and although light, they are flimsy and often catch on the sides when attempting to slide them in or out.
Actually, as I re-read my review I realize I have been factual but haven't conveyed my honest opinion. I hate this thing. No, seriously, I hate this thing. Every time I put wine away I end up swearing and curse the committee who designed it. I will be replacing this fridge because my blood pressure can't take it any longer. I'd give it away, but I think there might be more satisfaction watching this abomination of engineering being launched into the trash.
