I really enjoyed this movie! Which I am glad that I can say that because I had seen some negative reviews and so I was worried that I would not like it! Going in I felt my expectations were reasonable considering the plot and overall setting. Plus I am a huge fan of Alycia Debnam Carey work and had high hopes so was trying to be fair.
I felt the movie had a good pace throughout and kept in engaged the entire time. It has plenty of solid horror or what some might consider intense scary elements throughout the movie. There's only so much that can be done with a movie of this type but I think the actors carried it very well.
The special effects were more than adequate and were honestly a nice surprise. The overall video & audio quality on the blu-ray was excellent too! I hope this movie gives Alycia more opportunities to show off her talent!
Get some popcorn, a water or soda and turn off the lights! Then you can relax and enjoy the movie. Just keep an open mind going in and you should be pleasantly surprised
I can highly recommend this movie to anyone that is a fan of the genre with reasonable expectations. I just hope you can get it at a decent price, like I did.
