I was a bit nervous after receiving it and seeing that it is significantly different looking from the original board, but apparently the functionality is the same is it worked fine once installed. The beeper / alarm is slightly louder, and the beeps are slightly longer, but those are the only functional differences that I have noticed... insignificant really.
My only gripe with this product is that the housing piece (black plastic that the board clips into) didn't come with the face-plate that has all of the button labels and is the part that you see when you're looking at the oven. This is understandable though since there are different colors / styles of face plate. With that said, I elected to swap the control board from the new housing into the old housing that still had the face plate on it, since that face plate is adhered to the old housing with some pretty substantial adhesive. I would have preferred if this control board came without the housing at all, or at least with the housing separate. The reason for this is that in order to remove the control board, I had to pry back some plastic tabs on the housing and flex the board considerably to release it from the housing. It would be very easy to damage the new control board if one isn't very careful in this process.
The alternative to swapping housings is to swap the face plate, but then you have to worry about tearing or bending the plastic face when you're removing it.Read more ›
Ordered it here from Amazon, because the price was right and because I could get it shipped in 2 days - it's Christmas, we need our oven back. :)
Installation couldn't be easier. Unplug the appliance, remove the top metal cover from the back of the appliance, and remove the old OCB by taking out 4 screws. Carefully peel off the control panel overlay from the old OCB and transfer it to the new one - there should be enough residual glue to allow it to adhere. Then mount the new OCB into the place where the old OCB was, and then move the cables one-by-one from the old unit to the new one. There are five individual wires running along the right-hand edge and a single white multi-wire connector on the bottom... I strongly recommend moving the individual wires first, and do it from bottom to top, so you will have room to work while you're working. You may have to use a flathead screwdriver to unseat the white connector from the old OCB due to the way it locks in. Don't sweat if you break the locking tab on the old OCB, just don't damage the connector. When all of that is done, put the metal cover back on and plug it in. Should take 10-20 minutes, tops.Read more ›
error codes. Stove continued working fine. Unplug the oven, remove a few screws and
unplug the control board. Replacing it with a new board is a reverse of the removal.
Square headed wrench will be necessary for removal of the board.
I recommend buying the Oven Control Overlay: peel off the old one from the Control
Board, and apply the new Overlay: it's just an expensive sticker, but having a nice
new one is worth doing. After repair, the oven was working perfectly right away, and
has continued perfectly for a couple of months since the replacement. Amazon
assures that the part fits your oven model, and it was just right for me.

Seems to work fine. Followed advice of other reviewers and Youtube videos, had no trouble. Fairly simple swap; saved $$$ doing it myself.Published 5 months ago by Chris J
Works good, fixed my problem. Be sure to order the overlay as removing the old one is disastrous.Published 8 months ago by Computer Guy
