This book is a collection of 3 Frog and Toad books. My five year old son loves to hear the different adventures of these two good buddies. As a parent, I enjoy reading these stories aloud, they are well-written and teach children about friendship and being kind to one another. There is good use of humor in these stories and new readers as well as adults will smile inside as they read.

Why do I love Frog and Toad? I'm not really sure. Not much really happens in these stories. The illustrations are beautiful but rather small. The eponymous friends carry on their friendship through mild misunderstandings and misadventures, always ready to forgive each other and forget. These gentle stories are among my favorite kids' books. I have fond memories of Frog and Toad from my childhood, and I never tire of re-reading them to my 4-year-old daughter. She seems to like them, too.

My seven year old son is not nearly as thrilled with reading as his mother, but at last we have found a collection that he can't get enough of. Frog and Toad are the perfect bedtime characters. The stories are simple and sweet, and my son tells me that they make him feel "warm and cozy". The reading level is appropriate for him as a second grader. And even my four-year-old will settle in to listen to the latest tales of Frog and Toad. This is a must-have collection!

I love reading these stories with my daughter. They are just so funny and sweet! The treasury is nice because all the stories are in one place and you know how easy it is to misplace kids books! The fewer items there are in a house full of kids, the better!

My son enjoys the stories and now is able to read them on his own. The simple stories of friendship and small adventures capture his attention and interest. Highly recommended for young children especially emerging and early readers.

I was very excited to find this treasury, and excited when I received it to see that it's very well done. Good size, hardcover, large pictures, large text, great selection of stories.

My kids have listened to these many, many times. The relationship between Frog and Toad creates some of Lobel's best comedy, with the more mature, ever patient frog and the child like, temperamental but loving toad. Lobel's most accomplished illustrations are in this book, in my opinion, along with his best life lessons.
