I have a cancer called Ocular Melanoma. It is very rare. Only 6 in 1million people get this cancer and there is no cure. I am trying natural cures now and I heard a lot of great things about Dandelion tea. I have been drinking it once a day in the evening and I add a touch of honey and almond milk and it is REALLY good tea! Of course, I won't really know yet if it is helping with the cancer, but I can say, I had my MRI results come in today and everything was clear for now! I am over the moon happy right now. I was given 3 years to live, last October. I truly believe that doctors do not know the healing powers of natural "weeds" and other things, that grow right outside of their small offices and large hospitals. Dandelion tea is good for so many things and I have felt great since I have been taking it every night. Make sure to add some honey or maple syrup to it as it can be bitter. I also add Vanilla flavored Almond milk which gives it a nice sweet taste. I have a tea leaf infuser that I use and I steep the dandelion root for about 5 minutes before pouring. If you google Dandelion root, you will find all sorts of articles about the healing powers it has.

I usually love the taste of dandelion tea and find it sweet and nutty tasting. This is at least the 3rd bulk bag I have ordered from frontier as all previous ones were good. This last bag tasted rancid and bitter. Much like when I ordered starwest. I am not sure what this inconsistency is caused by. But I cannot stomach this last bag.

There was an error with this order that worked out fine. I thought I had ordered Frontier's dandelion ROOT, as usual. But my order summary after I paid said I had gotten dandelion leaf. I usually roast the root granules and add some to my daily gourd of yerba mate for dandelion root's flavor plus its alkalizing and detoxing benefits. So I thought, "Maybe it's for the best. I love dandelion. This gives me a chance to try dandelion LEAF with my mate." When the product arrived, it was the usual root. So there was an admin error somewhere. I'm happy that I received my usual order of dandelion root, and look forward to trying the leaf in my yerba mate blend next time.

I was looking forward to the roasted coffee-like flavor of roasted root. Unfortunately, this has a hint of a sour note to it. I would recommend the manufacturer clarify it is NOT roasted. The flavor is more bitter because of it. --

Dandelion root contains calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, potassium & vitamins B&C. It is really good as a liver detox, relieves constipation and soothes digestion. It also strengthens the immune system, balances blood sugar & relieves heart burn. This product arrived clean, fresh & on time. The pieces are small and have a delicate flavor. I grind it again and infuse it with nettles, lemon balm, olive leaf, and/or other herbs to make a tea. It must be steeped for several minutes to achieve maximum benefit. I trust this company and will be ordering this product again.
