The Good:
1. Fair prices can be found for this at least when I bought it.
2. This is definately White Onion and has alot of clean healthy flavor. There is no chemical taste. Sometimes in the USA at least, I have heard of crops being sprayed with 'treated' waste water. I have bought whole white onions at stores in the USA and depending on where they came from, I could actually taste things that I am pretty sure are related to the 'treated' waste water. If you have looked at a onion closely, Most of its layers are like leaves of lettuce which meet at the end of the onion and this allows liquids that are sprayed on top of the onion to actually enter the layers of the onion inside (my theory). This is why I was able to taste the 'treated' waste water even after peeling off a layer or two of the onion.
3. In the question and answer section for this product, people have answered that the frontier website says this is sourced in Egypt. I believe it is true because of the lack of chemical smell or taste and there is no detectable 'treated' waste water taste.
The Bad:
1. The packaging is some kind of plastic material that is not resealable. I believe all plastics have harmful chemicals in them. some plastics have more or worse chemicals than other types of plastics. I couldnt find any number on the bag that says what kind of plastic it was. Although this is a bad thing, its still a much better product than I have seen anywhere else so far.
