Also, if you read other similar item descriptions carefully, some peppercorns come from places where they might contain unwanted toxins, which I was only recently made aware of. These may be a bit more expensive but I feel the added cost is worth it.

These peppercorns have a nice aroma and are consistent in size. They do not, unfortunately, have a strong pepper flavor. The flavor is floral and slightly spicy, but just not very strong. I've had other tellicherry black peppercorns which tasted much stronger with pungent peppercorn aroma and floral notes. I think these may just be past their prime.

I have not seen any sticks or debris in my bag of peppercorns. They came nice a clean. That was a concern of mine after reading the reviews of other bulk peppercorns on Amazon.

I'll probably try these again!
