Aromatic, organic thyme for enhancing marinades, vegetables, fish, stews and cheese dishes. A crucial ingredient in Mediterranean cooking, especially suited for soups and sauces. Thyme blends well with many herbs, enhancing rather than overpowering other flavors. It adds warmth and pungency to marinades, stuffings, vegetables, fish, stews and cheese dishes. Thyme is also a useful addition to meat dishes.

Thyme is an herb. The flowers, leaves, and oil are used as medicine. Thyme is a mint that contains calcium, iron and manganese, which work as antiseptic and antibacterial agents. It helps relieve respiratory troubles. Thyme is taken by mouth for bronchitis, whooping cough, sore throat, colic, arthritis, upset stomach, stomach pain (gastritis), diarrhea, bed wetting, a movement disorder in children (dyspraxia), intestinal gas (flatulence), parasitic worm infections, and skin disorders. It is also used to increase urine flow (as a diuretic), to disinfect the urine, and as an appetite stimulant. High in estrogen, slows blood clotting, no need for Asprin.
COOKING: In foods, thyme is used as a flavoring agent. View the link in comment section for the best steam steak with only few ingredients if you are a true lover of taste. Simple and sweet. The only difference is that I use grass fed butter, lots of minced fresh garlic but I dump more thyme even before cooking, I even add it to the beef to marinade.
BY MOUTH: Ground flax, sesame, chia, fennel and thyme in a coffee grinder, add cocoa, pure isolate and organic soy milk before pumping iron. Consuming it directly helps with bronchitis, coughing, fever, upper respiratory tract infections, common colds and increased production of sputum.Read more ›
I've had this tincture done for about 6-7 months now, I haven't updated since life got a little crazy with my son being born ;). There will be some matter that builds up towards the bottom if filtering with cheese cloth. I just swirl the mason jar around to mix it up (maybe its best to leave it on the bottom I dunno). I've used this with OK results, don't expect amazing results like one day the acne was there the next it's gone. While I tested it on myself there was a slight burning sensation probably from the alcohol and a residual thyme smell. Personally I'd apply this at night with a cotton ball. You might think a little goes a long way but that is not the case. If you are using it every day 1-2 a day then expect to go through a quart in about 2 months. While my brother went through two quarts it seems to have helped him. But like I said it's not a 1 day fix all.
