I believe this is direct from the manufacturer so the price is much better than what you'd find at a pet store and likely similar to what your veterinarian will charge.
Quality product that does it's job. Only downside is this is applied to the dog and then they have an oil slick on their back for a few days after.
The makers claim that Frontline Plus kills all fleas and prevents re-infestation for up to one month. For 'paralysis tick' protection, bi-weekly application is recommended but results are not guaranteed.
The product comes in a number of 'pipettes' that contain an oily-sticky liquid that is applied on the back of the dog's neck's, on the skin (must part the coat until the skin is visible). The makers recommend monthly applications.
I found it easy to treat the dogs. Given the relatively high price of this product, I've been using one pipette for our 2 puppies. As they are now big, this may no longer be an option but I can see how this option could be a money saver for anyone who has 2 'not so large' dogs.
I am taking one star away because of the ridiculously high price.
