The missing final star is for editing and polish. There were occasional breaks in grammar and wording, and some sections seemed rushed; The plot line involved several different bad guys, not all of whom we actually saw and not all of whom had anything to do with each other. In that sense it was, again, more like real life - but in one break from reality, the main character never stops to wonder why he has three different people gunning for him at once, and despite himself and his twin brother both dating doctors at the same hospital, they were apparently unaware of each other until the twin's murder at their psychotic semi-adoptive mother's hands. Another break was that the main character turned out relatively normal despite a being isolated by a deranged single mother for most of his life.
I fell in love with it on about.. the first page really, I wanted to know "what's goin' to happen?" from the beginning. I like how it's reality with a little bit supernatural involved. What I didn't like was the grammar errors. There were too many of them; it's not really a problem for me if there are one or three errors, but when it goes over ten, it gets annoying.
I'd recommend "Frost" to anyone who loves fantasy and/or mystery.
P.S. Please overlook any grammar errors in my text, I do hate them myself, but English is not my mother-tongue so there might be some.
