The Frostfire solar powered battery operated ultrasonic cat and pest repeller keeps away unwanted pests. Simply place the unit in your desired location, choose the desired frequency and watch as unwanted cats and pests are deterred from entering the 7 metre (22 foot) range. As soon as a pest enters the range the unit will emit an ultrasonic noise only audible to the pest. The unit can be charged via the solar panel on the top of the unit or via the supplied USB.

What is so good about it
It serves the purpose. Keeps my neighbor's cat away from my yard. I was so fed up with this cat and my neighbor after trying out many different methods to prevent that cat using our vegetable garden as its littler box. My neighbor was deaf to my repeated requests to hold off that cat. I tried orange oil and couple of other methods which did not work. Right from the day one this unit was installed, the cat stopped visiting our vegetable garden. So this one works for sure.
What is not so good about it
Cheap plastic. Unit does not come pre charged. The speaker should have had some kind of cover since it is meant for outdoor. Sensor is not very accurate .
I have gone through all the reviews and comments here. Some of the buyers here have expressed their frustration since it did not work for them. I only see two reasons for it not working. 1. Either you have received a defective piece from the seller. So return it and get a replacement. 2. You did not read the reviews and comments here properly.
Tips - Charge the unit using USB connection through your laptop / desktop ( takes a longer time) or a USB charges with recommended current ( faster) before you install this unit.
Set the frequency to 3 ( works best but you can try with different frequencies if you feel it does not work at 3) and sensitivity as required.. To check the sensitivity, install the charged unit at a place where you need it wait for 5 minutes and walk near the unit while checking the red LED blinking. Depending on how close you have to walk, increase the sensitivity but wait for few minutes before you test the sensitivity each time. Clean the solar panel at least once a week to keep it in good charging condition.
I charged it once with the provided cable, and it has successfully recharged itself in the sun every day since.
Really, I can't imagine a better fix to a cat problem. Charge it once, install it; the cats leave you alone, nothing gets hurt, the neighbors don't complain that you're infringing on their cats' apparent right to defecate on your property-- everybody wins.
