THIS IS NOT THE DELUXE EDITION!!!!! Amazon told me I was buying the deluxe edition as a CD and that is not what this is. If you are looking at the black cover you are looking at a CD with only 11 songs not all of the music. The music is great, but this is not the product I was told I was buying so I am extremely dissatisfied.

My four year old is a huge Frozen fan. I cannot tell you how many times we listened to the original soundtrack. According to my kid, the new songs are just as good. So we've been listening to the Frozen 2 album on repeat since I purchased it.
And I dig a lot of the songs, too -- "Into the Unknown" is especially fantastic, once I was able to listen to the full song -- but Kristoff's very-80s-power-ballad, "Lost in the Woods," is a bit much for me. Please note that "The Next Right Thing" deals with some dark themes, so if you are getting this for young kids, I would recommend you screen to the song first. (The song makes it *seem* like Elsa has died and Anna is mourning her death.)

get the deluxe edition, not this one... I ended up buying both and the deluxe edition has the songs from the score for only a few dollars more.

Disappointed...only one song caught my attn. Hope the movie lives up to its previews
Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2019Verified Purchase
Not impressed by this soundtrack as I purchased on 11/14/19 & listened to it on 11/16/19 before movie released 11/22/19. Its best song was one sung by Kristoff/actor Jonathan Groff. I became a big fan of Kristen Bell after the first Frozen movie. But the songs on this 2nd soundtrack aren't as fun & exciting as the first movie; mostly boring. Hopefully the movie lives up to its previews.

I mistakenly thought the imported CD was the deluxe edition but unfortunately it is not. I’m disappointed but I do like the artwork more than the design on the standard US CD. I’ve been looking everywhere online and it seems that the “deluxe” edition with outtakes, instrumental tracks and the score is only available digitally through Amazon Music, iTunes, etc. I’m very disappointed since I got the deluxe edition of the last soundtrack and thought they’d do a physical edition for this one too. :(

Awesome Songs, Cheap Cardboard Case, Could Do Without Repeat Songs by Random Singers
Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2020Verified Purchase
My 7 year old is obsessed with the Frozen 2 movie (we've seen the movie 3 times in theaters) and this soundtrack is on constant repeat in our house. I enjoy the songs a lot, so that doesn't annoy me. I ordered this for her stocking from Santa and was disappointed in the packaging - it's a cheap cardboard case. Really? They should've used a plastic case for longevity. We did like the shimmery aspect of the snowflake on the front and on the characters' outfits on the inside. She also liked the included lyric booklet to follow along.
Now, the songs. The songs for the most part are FANTASTIC! For us, the best song of the soundtrack is Kristoff's power ballad, "Lost in the Woods." It has an 80s power ballad vibe and is beautifully done - in the movie, Kristoff basically has his own music video and it's glorious. It's awesome to see Kristoff get a real song unlike the last movie. Of course, "Into the Unknown," Elsa's "Let It Go" of this movie is phenomenally done and is just as good as "Let it Go." "Show Yourself" is Elsa's other song and is very good as well. We also love "Some Things Never Change," an upbeat song that includes all of the main characters singing together. The real flop of the soundtrack is "Next Right Thing," which is Anna's solo song. It's really dark and depressing and we skip it every time.
So there are 8 original songs and then 3 repeats of "Into the Unknown," by Panic at the Disco, "All is Found" by Kacey Musgraves, and "Lost in the Woods" by Weezer. Really could do without the repeats by random people. They couldn't have come up with a few more original songs instead of repeats? Panic at the Disco's version of "Into the Unknown" is the absolute worst of the three - the guy's voice is like nails on the chalkboard and he needs to leave the ballads to Elsa. Weezer's version of "Lost in the Woods" isn't too bad, but we still skip all the repeats. Overall an awesome soundtrack, but needs a better case and to lose the repeat songs.

I love all the songs on this soundtrack, especially show yourself. My only problem is that I wish it was an actual plastic cd case and not made of thin cardboard. It also came with a lyric book.

It's the official soundtrack so has all the proper songs. My Daughter loves it, The only downside is it's left our entire family prone to outbursts of ooooaaahhhhhooooaahhhh. This can strike at any time or place, It happened to me in a lift at work and so now I have to quit my job. Be warned

It's short, but very, very good if you like Frozen 2, which I do, great songs, wish it had the instrumental tunes on the CD, then it would be 5 stars

We went to see Frozen 2 at the cinema and Instantly connected and loved the songs. I bought it for my twin girls (secretly me) and we love blasting it out in the car or in the house. We love it and the meaning behind each song is so lovely. Great album very pleased.

I know I bought this in April but I’ve only just opened it to play it and it won’t play. All my other cds play perfectly. I’ve left it too late to get in touch with the seller but I just thought I’d let you know in case it happens to you too.
