Good soundtrack; TERRIBLE PRESSING

If you are looking for high fidelity and something to please your ears, this isn't the version to buy. I purchased with the high standards that vinyl records have established in mind. Man was this a let down. It literally sounds worse than a CD rip. Voices are fuzzy and distorted at anything above a low/moderate volume. Really, for such a successful film, I would have thought they could have managed a proper vinyl pressing. I am unable to tell if this was even looked at by a sound engineer before pressing.

I thought it was just my player or my ears, but it turns out that many other people have noticed the poor audio quality on this vinyl. Let It Go is unlistenable and embarrassing to play in front of house guests because it makes it sound like my record player blows.

Not 180 gram vinyl. No download code. Sounds like crap. Scuffed up grooves. Very disappointing. Reordered. Hopefully the right copy comes. If not I’m returning for a refund & ordering elsewhere..... Update. 08/05/2019 got my second copy. The record looks perfect but still sounds like crap. I cannot believe Disney allowed this to be sold. There is no download code in this one either. The description says it comes with one & so does the back of the LP. I am very disappointed. I wish I could give it zero stars.

This record's quality made me question my sanity. I put a new stylus assembly on my turn-table, I fiddled with every control. I bought a brand new pre-amp. Sadly after all of that I realized that this record was the issue. I figured since it was a modern pressing and Disney that it would have very high quality. I wish I had read the other reviews here. I am sad that this record has 4 stars which is no doubt due to the content rather than quality. Disney can do better. It is unfortunate that there is not a high quality LP of this soundtrack as my girls love it. If you are buying this to show off the quality of your system - don't - because it can't. The master is fundamentally flawed. It's like the LP was an afterthought and that is very sad.

After getting a vinyl of Moana and finding it to be an excellent pressing with ideal sound quality, I assumed Disney's vinyl of Frozen would be the same. It is comparatively muffled and cheap sounding. Despite the listing saying that disney would provide a download code in the sleeve, they didn't -and Amazon has not issued me a link to download the album either. Until I can figure out if they will, I'm essentially stuck with a low quality edition of these songs.

I purchased this on vinyl December of 2019. Aviod at all cost. The pressing is so bad. There is no excuse for this even exist. Whoever was in charge at the studio should be out of a job. Luckily my daughter doesn't care that it sounds like a cat being run over is singing let it go.

Terrible press! I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. We were so disappointed with the sound quality. Like other reviews, it sounds worse the louder you make it. I thought it was just the one I received so I had a replacement copy ordered and the same thing. The first song on second side, "reindeer are better than people" , the beginning minute fades in and out. Also, it's not the "Back to Black" press as advertised in the photo. Don't waist your time or money.
