These are honestly just fantastic, all expectations met or exceeded. I'm always a teeny bit nervous buying shoes off of Amazon where I can't be 100% certain that the stock is the most up to date and that the seller is actually selling what they say. Anyway, this purchase was an excellent experience, and I felt like I basically ordered off of Frye itself, but with faster shipping. I ordered the size 7 shoes in wine. I have narrow, size 7 feet, with an unusually long big toe - so sometimes I'm reaching 7.5 but usually not. The 7 was a perfect fit. Based on a few reviews, I was expecting it to be slightly too big but the 7 fits my narrow feet extremely well, leaving a teeny bit of room for the big toe problem. They are not very loose or tight around my ankle once on and end up looking relatively sleek in effect. Taking them off does take a little bit of effort, but the pullback strap is more than enough help.
The size 7 is wine is currently more than 50% off of the normal price anywhere else. It's discounted at larger sizes in that color but not as much, which is interesting but besides the point.
Lastly, the color! I originally wanted black but was struck by these guys, and oof. The wine is stunning. It looks as good as it does online. So yes, clearly pleased with this purchase. I will update if something goes horribly wrong in the next few weeks of wear.
