So, that was pretty much the only words I had at the end of Fueled. When you read it you will understand the Quack thing (which I thought was HILARIOUS btw!). I was not thrilled with Colton in Driven (understand of the year!). K. Bromberg promised me I would like him more if I kept reading the series. She was right, I do like Colton more, but man he does not make it easy to like him!!! You really do get a better understanding of his life growing up and the abuse he endured. It does make you understand why he acts the way he does. However, understanding it and accepting it are two different things. His behavior is immature and frustrating. Yes, he experienced terrible trauma in his childhood. I still wanted him to handle adulthood with a bit more maturity! Needless to say when Rylee was only yelling "Quack" at him, I realized that they are both super immature (however, I still think she is hilarious!). Talk about major angst! These two just could not get on the same page for longer than a quick minute. But when they are on the same page? Its hot.
I must say I was a little disappointed with Haddie at times. I felt like she was pushing Rylee to forgive something that she was obviously upset about. I wanted someone to be on Rylee's side and while I understand Haddie's reasons, I wanted her to be a more supportive friend. It just seemed like everyone was telling Rylee she needed to be the bigger person. Yes, she did, but how is that fair to her to always be the one who has to fight for the relationship?!? He should fight for her as hard as she fights for him and that didn't happen (usually).
And the ending?!?! GRRRRR!!! Darn you K. Bromberg! Seriously though, she is the master of the perfectly timed cliffhanger! Its both incredibly frustrating and super amazing. I am glad I was not reading these books as they were released because I would have died.
What I didn't like about this book is that Riley turned into a teenage drama queen the last 30% of the book. She of course jumps to certain conclusions and acts all kinds of irrational. Not saying that Colton is innocent, but I lost a lot of respect I had for Riley in Driven by her acting childish and immature in this book at the end.
I still loved this book and if not for the last part of this book it would have gotten 5 stars and totally surpassed Driven in my book. But the end had my heart racing and now I'm dying to read the next book. Kristy is killing me with this series and I love every minute of it.
I preferred the relationship strife in this one. I’m not sure that you ever know which way is up but you can’t stop routing for them to be together. They just have to find a way back to each other, am I right?!?
I mean how perfect is it that she works with boys from horrible abuse situations and he can’t escape his demons. He can’t even tell any one about them. I love that she can be his light in a sea of darkness and the blur.
I love the stories of the boys in the story. I like how they are a part of everything and I found myself routing for them too! I love how they are woven into a full story and it isn’t ever too much. I want to hear about them. I want to know how they are doing.
The last third of this book was physically painful for me. I had tears in my eyes numerous times and felt that pang of pain in my heart for all the crap they were putting each other through. I mean, what was it all for anyway?
I cannot review this anymore. I need to get back to the story!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Read it!!

This second book is just as amazing at the first, if not more! Rylee and Colton are fast becoming on of my favourite book couples. I adore the raw chemistry oozing from these two (it should be bottled and sold) and the constant struggles they face, just like any other couple. I think that's what makes them one of my favourite couples, the fact that they are just like the rest of us trying to find themselves as individuals and as a couple and learning how to deal with the baggage they each bring to their relationship/arrangement. They are identifiable to readers and it makes it so much easier to connect with them both.
Like Driven, Fueled is a book that screams to be devoured, a story that makes you completely forget all you are doing and should be doing because you fully immerse yourself in this book and just let it take over your world. I found myself completely unable to put it down and took it everywhere until I finished it. I love the dynamic of the characters and the story they tell. There is so much involved in their story, so much to keep readers engaged and you quickly become a part of it too, you are constantly kept on your toes and are so eager to find out whats coming next.
K. Bromberg is a phenomenal writer and I can feel myself falling in love with the way she writes and the world she creates. She has an amazing ability and talent, her words are just pure perfection and the way she is able to make me (and I'm sure countless other readers) feel the emotions of the characters is amazing.
Can't wait to dive into Crashed!
It's not until Florida that Beckett shoves them into the same room to sort it out!
They both are scared about moving forward, both trying to keep their true feelings hidden from each other!
Rylee deals with her insecurities really well, showing how she is level headed but human at the same time! I loved how she dealt with the exes at the charity event! I was definitely in her corner.
That has to be a terrible feeling, although she went into the dinner with him, and would be leaving with him! The exes circling waiting for an in!
They have such a passionate, heart wrenching beautiful connection, she wants to help him overcome his problems, and all his family and close friends can see how he has changed, how different he is with Rylee in his life.
They both work really well together with the kids in The House! The boys love the interaction with the superstar racer!
My adrenalin has been on high alert thought this installment and finally slowed down, after their very public fight in the bar!
I was reading their 'talk' with a warm fuzzy feeling, hoping they make it! Then you throw in the big high adrenalin of the race! Goodness!
Giving long awaited answers at JUST THE RIGHT TIME!
The placing of the Colton POV chapters are again PURE GENIUS!!!
Rylee is so remarkable & this is shown perfectly in Fueled! Her ability to see the best & overcome her past are beautiful.
You will love & hate Colton at the same time.
His cockiness is on top form in this second installment.
We get to see more of his vulnerable "not broken, just bent" side. Which is heartbreaking.
We get to see more of the fun loving BEST BFF EVER, Rylee's roommate Haddie in Fueled, she is so ballsy & I totally get why they get along so well/compliment each other!
We finally get more of Colton's 'wing man' Becks.
Their dynamic is much like Rylee & Haddie's. They challenge & compliment each other as only guys can. Becks knows when to push & when to give Colton time to figure stuff out for himself.
Rylee's boys from 'The House' 💙
God i love those kids!
Broken by life & their terrible early years yet so full of life & love.
This installment had my brain in overdrive trying to get two steps ahead & prepare myself but let me just say...
I. FAILED. several times.
My advice- have Crashed ready & loaded to go straight on with their journey!
